"But... You won't be happy to see him, right?" Shawn said in a worried tone after taking a deep breath.

"I just didn't expect... him to be like this." Elizabeth smiled grimly. She felt that Ouyang's heart had gone awry. He still hadn't married after all these years. Was it because of her?

If that was the case, Elizabeth would feel terrible.

Nathan held the steering wheel with one hand, while Mandy's voice had gone silent beside him. Since Adrian had been hospitalized, she hadn't been sleeping well. She had been sleeping irregularly and took whatever opportunity she could get to sleep. Nathan switched off the music in the car. They were still far away from the lab, so he let Mandy doze off quietly.
