Serge's query interrupted her chain of thoughts, and she answered him briefly, "No. I want to go to the JR Hospital." Mandy was worried about Lisa as well. She was hospitalized due to pneumonia. Mandy couldn't help but go visit her and find out about her current health condition.

"Is there anything wrong, Madam?" Serge asked anxiously. His heart skipped a beat at the mention of the hospital. If he wasn't wearing the sunglasses, Mandy would have noticed the worried expression in his eyes. However, he tried his best to remain stoic.

"No, I'm fine. I just want to see my daughter," Mandy explained. There was evident impatience lacing her voice.

Mandy didn't respond to him immediately. She knew it was useless to blame Colin now. Besides, it was she who had quit first. She failed in her duty as a mother, and now she had lost the right to blame Colin. At least Colin was there by Lisa's side while she was the one who was away. She stood there in silence as a feeling of shame settled in her heart.

When Colin realized Mandy had gone silent, he hesitated for a few seconds, deciding whether he should tell her the truth or not.

After a while, when Mandy realized Colin was hesitating with something, she stared at him fixedly and said, "Colin, just tell me what you have on your mind. Just say it." Mandy could clearly sense that he had something going on inside his head. He wanted to tell her about something but couldn't come out with it. So she took the initiative and asked him instead.
