Chapter 601 Nathan, Are You Serious

"Didn't I tell you that I would come back a little late?" Mandy said in a low voice. Apparently, she was a bit aggrieved.

After pausing for a few seconds, Nathan kept a straight face and said, "You did say that, but I also said that I would wait for you at home, and I hoped you would come home earlier. Why didn't you get my point?"

"I haven't seen her for such a long time, and I rarely have a chance to spend a whole day with my little girl. It was reasonable for me to come home late." Nathan's commanding and aggressive tone intimidated Mandy. She turned her eyes slightly and looked at Nathan, feeling provoked to anger.

Nathan sneered and said, "I never imagined you would love an adopted daughter more than your own son!"

"She is my adopted daughter, but I love her as much as my biological son." She glared at him defiantly.

"Since you like her so much, why don't you go back to Colin so that you three can lead a happy life together?" With anger smoldering in his heart, those pictures on the computer suddenly came back to his mind. His pent up anger had been struggling for a release all afternoon!

Nathan's attitude really pissed Mandy off. She felt as if her whole body was on fire. She glared at him and clenched her teeth. "Nathan, are you serious? If you want me to leave, I'll go right now."

"No way. I'll never let you go. You can't leave me for the rest of your life. I don't know what I would do if you left me again." Nathan panicked. He looked at Mandy with his deep eyes. Suddenly, he wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her into his arms.

"Humph! You don't want me to leave? Then why didn't you admit it just now?" Mandy said with satisfaction, snuggling up in Nathan's arms.

"Would you dare to say that again?" Nathan loosened his grip on Mandy and pursed his lips. He looked even more serious in the moonlight.

Mandy swallowed and said with a nervous laugh, "Mr. Jin, I was wrong."

"Call me honey." Her laughter showed him that her mood had changed, so Nathan became tender, and his expression soften

egg. Then Nathan took her hand and brought her upstairs.

Adrian was lying on his bed in his room, suffering from insomnia. This might be because Mandy came back home so late that Adrian didn't have a chance to say goodnight to his mother before going to sleep.

He kept turning over and over again on the bed. When Mandy and Nathan entered his room, he stopped.

Frowning, Mandy walked up to him and asked him softly, "Hey, Adrian. It's so late. Why are you still awake?"

Hearing his mother's voice, Adrian jumped out of the bed in excitement and opened his eyes suddenly. "Mom, you're back."

"Adrian, have you been waiting for me to come home?" A sense of guilt arose in Mandy's soft heart. She never expected that her silly son would stay up for her! She should have come to see him the moment she came home!

Nathan stood aside, and his thin lips formed in a faint smile. "Mandy, you've just been with this little boy for a short time, but now I can't manage without you. When I went on business trips before, he didn't suffer from insomnia. It turns out that he doesn't care so much about me. He obviously loves you more."

"Dad, I love you too." Adrian left Mandy's arms and embraced Nathan.

"Don't flatter me, you naughty boy." Nathan teased. But there was a smile on the corners of Nathan's mouth, indicating that he was actually in a pleasant mood.
