Chapter 592 You Don't Believe Me Either

Nacy looked at Mandy, feeling downhearted. "He didn't return home until very late tonight. And when we talked, he never mentioned meeting Bonnie. I suspected this because I smelled a unique scent on him that I had smelled on Bonnie a few days prior. I remembered this smell because it was a strong and very unique fragrance. When I was near Bonnie, the smell literally had my stomach twisted because of its awful fragrance. Although I had been an active member of the entertainment circle for so many years, I never paid attention to using perfumes. I never felt the need to use perfumes, really. But I obviously am familiar with the fragrances of some famous-brand perfumes. That was why I knew and remembered Bonnie's unique smelling perfume. Tonight when Simon came back home, I also smelled that distinct fragrance on him," Nacy stated, frowning. She felt severely deceived and was really down.

Mandy scrunched her eyebrows, confused. "Why was Simon with her in the first place?" She felt sorry for Nacy.

At other times, Mandy would have said Nacy was overreacting, but she knew women were the most sensitive and suspicious when they were pregnant. Nacy was no different. Simon should have considered this before getting involved with his ex-girlfriend again at this time. How could Nacy not be angry while knowing all of this?

"I don't know!" Nacy's voice almost broke. "He had indeed said they were talking about the contract. But I don't think Bonnie is good at doing business for she didn't get good grades in school. I knew she depended on her family's antique business to support herself. As far as I've known her, she has not worked so far. People like her can't really talk business. Can she? Then I don't know why Simon would lie to me."

Mandy reached out and placed a hand on Nacy's shoulder. "Nacy, don't be too suspicious. Men, in fact, hate cranky women like Bonnie. So don't worry. You're pregnant now, that's why you have been over-analyzing everything. When a woman is in love, she likes to think more than necessary about her man. She wants her man to be with her all the time. If he doesn't return a message in five minutes, she gets anxious pretty quickly and suspects her man to be sleeping with another woman. You are probably going through that stage. Due to your pregnancy, you're more sensitive than normal. So, I'd suggest, don't think too much. It's almost 12 o'clock. Go to sleep and get some proper rest." Mandy gave her a comforting smile.

Then she stood up, intending to leave.

"Mandy, I'm so scared to be alone in this hospital room. Can you stay here with me tonight?" Nacy quickly grasped Mandy's hand when seeing she was leaving. She felt insecure to sleep alone in the hospita

him say so, she immediately ran towards him and crashed in Nathan's arms, sobbing fearfully. She trembled in disdain. "Brother, only you in this whole world treat me best."

Nathan gave out a smile at that. Then he pushed her off his chest softly and looked down at her lovingly. Nacy had always been there for him, even at those times when Mandy had left him three years ago. He still remembered that during those years, Nacy often visited him at his house at No. 520, Haibin Road, cooked soup and delicious food for him, and told him jokes. Actually, she wanted to make him happy while he was in a bad state. Although the two of them were not biological siblings, their connection to each other had already surpassed their biological ones.

In this world, the three women that Nathan loved most were Mandy, Daisy, and Nacy. They were all equally important and had special places in his heart.

"You shouldn't cry when you are pregnant, or the baby will be ugly. Give me a big smile!" Nathan said half-jokingly.

Nacy pouted at that before a smile appeared on her face.

It was bright and sunny the next day.

The new semester was about to start for Ethon and Fiona. As seniors, they had to start a few days earlier than the freshmen, so that they could arrange for the welcome party at the arrival of those new students.

The University A was crowded and immersed in a lively atmosphere. Ethon and Fiona were wearing the new matching clothes that they had bought a few days ago when they went shopping together. They walked around the campus interlocking their fingers.

Suddenly Ethon looked at Fiona and frowned. "Nana, are you feeling hot?" Ethon gave her a warm smile before pulling her under the shade of a tree. There was no breeze blowing today, and the sun shone hotly above everyone's head.
