Chapter 593 Wish You To Enjoy Your Meal

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Ethon and Fiona were both members of the student council. Like when they were in high school, Ethon served as the president while Fiona was the committee fellow for publicity. They were extremely busy with the reception of the freshmen.

When the students gathered, they were overwhelmed with a heavy workload. Time flew as they held their posts, and it was not until nearly noon when they finally caught a break.

"Nana, are you hungry?" Ethon's gaze fell on Fiona with a smile.

"Well, a little." She smiled brightly and rubbed her tummy.

"Come on! I'll take you out for lunch." Ethon reached out and held her hand. The moment Ethon touched her, Fiona felt a warm sense of security.

"No need! There will be more freshmen coming this afternoon. We can go to the school cafeteria instead. There should not be many people in there today."

The dining hall of University A offered the best flavors from different cuisines. Aside from the vast menu, its interior aesthetics had undergone a makeover recently, much to the students' delight. No wonder it was rated as one of the hottest university canteens in a famous microblog!

The midday sun played over Fiona's dress and painted a soft glow on her skin. She walked with Ethon beside her, their fingers intertwined. Relishing his closeness, she looked up at him and saw a sheen of sweat covering his forehead. Concerned, she paused to take a pack of tissue from her bag.

Her sudden movement intruded Ethon's thought, and he slowed down his pace. "Nana, what's wrong?"

"You are sweating." She pulled out a piece of tissue and gently wiped his temple.

"It is great to have you as my girlfriend," Ethon said as he took her palm over, longing for its warmth. He was enamored with the feeling of affection.

Fiona gave out a small chuckle. She balled up the tissue and tossed it to a nearby trash bin.

They entered the cafeteria in high spirits, having no idea they would stumble into some unwanted company. They happened to meet Tina and Shyla.

Tina, who looked rather

st now?" Ethon stood behind her with a tender but worried look.

"I don't know. Maybe I was just observing Tina silently? I don't understand why we ended up like this after six years of friendship. It's ridiculous." A bitter smile crept upon her face as she held back her tears.

The world was filled with horrible things, and one of the worst feelings was the betrayal of a trusted friend. Fiona thought she had already moved on, but in retrospect, it appeared she had not. After meeting Tina again, her head reeled, and she felt suffocated. A nagging pain emanated from her chest.

Ethon did not like seeing Fiona upset. He stretched out his right hand and stroked her hair. "My silly girl, don't think too much. I'll always be by your side."

"Ethon, I want to resign from the student council," she said, suddenly changing the subject.

"Honestly, I agree. Since you've made up your mind, why don't we quit together? Let me stay with you for the remainder of the year," he suggested, drowning her in his tender gaze.

She nodded and could not be more relieved.

Ethon and Fiona did not tell anyone about their decision to live together, not even their parents. They had secretly rented a high-end flat located at the center of the city. It was a little far from the university but would easily escape unwanted attention from their classmates.
