Chapter 591 The Weird Perfume

Mandy adjusted her pajamas. She walked toward the door lazily and opened it while rubbing her eyes.

She saw three people standing outside. Fred and Serge stood on either side of Nacy like two emissaries.

Mandy looked up and down at Nacy, wondering what was wrong. Her eyes were red and swollen. One could easily tell she had been crying.

She grabbed Nacy's hand and found that her fingers were cold. She was shocked to see her like this. "Nacy!" she exclaimed, then continued, "Why have you come to the hospital in the middle of the night? Where is Simon?"

Distressed, Nacy answered in a low voice, "Don't even mention his name. That bastard cheated on me!"

"How is that possible? Are you sure there hasn't been a misunderstanding?" asked Mandy, unable to believe her words.

"Nacy, why don't you take a seat and tell us what happened?" Nathan suggested. His face had grown long after hearing what Nacy had said.

"Mr. Jin, Mrs. Jin, we should leave..." said Fred.

It was only now that Nathan noticed someone standing beside Fred. He smiled gleefully and exclaimed, "Serge! Welcome back!"

"Good evening, Mr. Jin and Mrs. Jin. Yes, I'm back." Serge bowed to them with a big smile.

"Who is this?" Mandy asked, smiling awkwardly in confusion, her eyes sweeping across Serge's face.

Serge gazed at Mandy as well. His heart started beating faster when she smiled at him. She was so gentle and lovely, he couldn't move his eyes away from her face.

"This is my student," Fred introduced Serge to them.

When Nathan's sharp gaze landed on him, Serge immediately snapped back to his senses. Smiling, he explained, "I'm sorry. Even though I'm meeting Mrs. Jin for the first time, I feel like I've seen her before..."

Smiling, Mandy held Nacy's hand and led her to the sofa.

Simon and Serge quietly bid farewell and left the ward.

"Yes, doctor. Thank you."

"Rest well, now. I will check you again tomorrow morning."

"I wanted to ask you something...I've noticed perfume makes me dizzy these days. Could that have any effect on the baby?"

"During pregnancy, all cosmetics and perfume should be forbidden. They will affect the baby's development. Some perfume with musk, lavender, or rosemary may increase chances of miscarriage," the doctor said cautiously.

"So, it is bad, huh..." Nacy spoke as if she had suddenly been enlightened. She didn't know much about perfume and wasn't sure if Bonnie's perfume was making her dizzy, or it was something else. But now, she decided to stay away from that woman.

After the doctor left, Mandy grasped Nacy's hand nervously and asked, "Nacy, how are you? Does your belly still hurt?"

Nacy slid back on the bed and lay down completely. Smiling, she answered, "I'm fine now."

"What happened between you and Simon?" 'Simon has loved Nacy for so many years. How could he have an affair?' Mandy wondered.

She even felt like the possibility of Nathan cheating on her was higher than that of Simon cheating on Nacy.

After all, Simon was the kind of rare man who was loyal to his wife forever. But, alas...he wasn't anymore...
