Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"Put me down. I can walk," she muttered lowly. Besides, she had just eaten. If Nathan didn't give her a chance to walk around, then she might as well start buying her clothes extra-large.

"I just wanted to hug you. You're getting heavy. Ever think of losing weight?" he teased. Nathan straightened his back and loosened his grip around her. He tossed her upwards lightly before catching her back into his arms.

At the sudden movement, she grasped the collar of his shirt. She was flushed. "What are you doing?" she demanded.

Her dark eyelashes could rival the inky night as it framed her beautiful eyes. Her face could rival the gorgeous scenery ahead of them.

Looking at the woman in front of him, Nathan couldn't help but grin broadly as he leaned forward to kiss her on the cheek.

Mandy pouted, pushing him gently from her.

Nathan pulled Mandy onto the deck chair, making her sit on his legs. He placed his chin on her shoulders, inhaling her scent.

Feeling uncomfortable, she stood up from his lap and lay next to him.

The night wind blew gently on their faces as the dark skies wrapped around them like a cool blanket. Mandy gazed at the stars motionlessly as her heart was filled with unspeakable sadness.

The world around them was quiet, and neither of them spoke. Nathan was lying on his side as he glanced at his wife from time to time, wondering what she was thinking.

"I had a dream," she slowly uttered. Her soft voice was enough to calm him.

"And what did you dream about?" The collar of his shirt was popped open, revealing his defined collarbone. He looked like an 18th-century aristocrat whom thousands of girls fawned over.

"Damian." Mandy frowned. Slowly, she turned to Nathan. He must know something a

sion, but he later met a capable female who was interning for the hospital. Her name was Audrey. She was from City C, and she was attracted to Nathan at first sight. She immediately took him to Sisquoc, and he begged him to help Adrian.

He had been running between City A and Switzerland the whole year. One year later, he was already suffering from a serious illness. In fact, he stayed in the hospital for more than half a month due to suffering from gastric ulcers. He remained in Switzerland for the next half month, wherein Audrey looked after him.

Audrey was a year older than Mandy. She had heard her name, but she didn't know her personally. Besides, medical school was so big, and since they weren't the same age, the chances of having met each other were much smaller.

However, even throughout all the difficulties, Nathan still pushed through. Adrian finally had a breakthrough, and he was now healthy. Nathan couldn't thank Audrey enough for her help.

Mandy raised her gaze and looked at Nathan. His eyes were much deeper than before, but they were layered with sadness and complications that had piled up from the last three years of his life.
