"Lisa has always been a curious child. I hope that you'll pay more attention to her, and I'll help persuade her to accept you. As for me leaving her, please don't say it to her anymore. She's getting really paranoid," Mandy said. She didn't really blame Morry for saying any of that.

Morry nodded sincerely, holding Mandy's hand in gratitude.

At the Hewitt Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Hospital

Last night, Mandy had broken Eve's nose. After that, she was immediately taken to her plastic surgeon. This time, her nose had another surgery for the implant.

"Eve, you're good looking already. Why do you have to torture yourself?" Bonnie asked as she peeled her an apple. Eve's face was covered entirely with white gauze, and the scars were evident at the side of her nose.

Although Eve was incredibly beautiful, she had always pursued perfection. A few days ago, she tried comparing her face with Mandy's. When she found that Mandy's nose was straighter than hers, she was quick enough to fix hers. Ever since she had returned, Eve always tried to copy Mandy's style, hating the fact that she was more beautiful than her.

"Don't you think my nose looks better?" Eve looked at her compact mirror. Even with all the gauze, she saw herself as the most beautiful woman in the world after undergoing the surgery.

Bonnie shook her head. "You're torturing yourself to death!"

"It's just plastic surgery," Eve snapped defensively.

I didn't want you to know who he was, and if you dare go anywhere near them, I'll gladly kill all of your family members. In fact, your father has been playing tricks behind my back already. Your uncle's company has been buying my company's stock ever since the prices came down, but I don't care! Go back home and tell them what I've just said."

"What? My uncle?" Eve furrowed her eyebrows.

"What? Are you colluding with them then? You've uploaded the video to drive my stock price down for them to pounce around like maniacs! You're pretty smart. I'll give you that," he spat out.

"I may have something to do with the video, but I didn't know about your stocks! Nathan, I love you. Why the hell would I do something that could harm you and JS International?"

"Who knows? You are as vicious as a snake!" he snarled.

"It really has nothing to do with me, Nathan!" Eve didn't know what else to say to him. She simply wanted to hide herself inside the quilt out of fear that he would do something to her.
