Chapter 556 You Are Worried For Me

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"Colin, don't get up so quickly. You're still weak," Morry instructed upon hearing Lisa's voice.

"Dad!" Lisa clapped her hands as she rushed to her father's bedside. She quickly snuggled into his arms. The young girl brightened the entire ward.

"Lisa… Mand..." Colin opened his dry lips, shocked to see that Mandy had returned. He stared at her for such a long time. A part of him was afraid that she would suddenly disappear before him.

A flurry of guilt and worry rose in her heart. Seeing Colin's pale face and lifeless eyes, she couldn't help but feel devastated at the sight of him. She took a step forward.

Morry's face darkened at the sight of Mandy's return. She dug her nails into her fists.

From the look on her face, Mandy already knew how much Morry hated her. She understood where she was coming from.

"Dad, Mom's here!" Lisa exclaimed, batting her eyelashes.

Colin's eyes crinkled as he ruffled his daughter's hair. "Thank you, baby."

Mandy swallowed. The tension between them was thickening. She didn't move another inch forward, afraid of what they might say. Besides, she had a lot of things to talk about with him.

"Morry, take Lisa out and buy her something to eat. I need to talk to Mand," Colin slowly said, knowing what was on her mind.

Morry turned her head and made a face at the thought of Mandy being alone with him. 'Hasn't she hurt him enough already? Why couldn't she just go away?' she thought unhappily. However, she followed his instructions as she took Lisa out of the ward.

"How have you been?" Mandy walked

to say something only to close it again. A part of her had always hoped that everyone around her would find their own happiness. However, some of them were unwilling to do so. Bruce was one of them.

She could tell that he liked her. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been single now. When she had been surrounded by reporters, he had quickly rushed up to her regardless of anything. That was evidence enough that he still had feelings for her.

The only thing Mandy could do was not to respond to their love. After all, she only loved Nathan and nobody else.

"You wouldn't know unless you give it a try."

"Look, Mand, I'm happy that you came to see me today, but if you keep insisting on setting me up with Morry, then you might as well leave. Nathan might get angry," he said bitterly.

Mandy slowly stood up. "Have a good rest," she said softly. "I'll be leaving now."

"Mand..." He frowned, not expecting that she would actually leave.

"I hope you can be happy, Colin. I hope that you will be able to build a family of your own."
