Chapter 456 She Won't Come Back

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Nathan stared at the pink handbag on the table. He was a hundred percent sure that the bag was Mandy's. When he unzipped it, a document popped out.

It was a signed divorce agreement! She signed it today!

Mandy's words echoed in his mind that morning. She told him that all she wanted was to take a break–that everything would be fine between them after her trip.

It was all a lie!

His gaze turned colder as he curled his lips. Within a second, he quickly tore the document into pieces.

The tension was so severe in the director's office as hundreds of pieces of paper flew all over the table.

'Don't even think about divorcing me! Dead or alive, I'll never divorce you, ' he thought vindictively.

Gripping Mandy's handbag, Nathan stormed out of the police station. The rain outside was getting heavier and heavier, and the mountain road was growing even more slippery. The intersection at the Qin Mountain Road was being blocked off by the police. Nathan stopped next to the highway.

Fred and his men were also there, holding their flashlights as they search for their boss's wife.

"Mr. Jin, why are you here?" Fred grabbed an umbrella from his car and headed towards him.

"Have you found her?" Nathan clenched his fists as he stared at the dried blood coating the pavements. Little by little, the rain was already washing it off. 'She must be fine, ' he thought to himself.

Fred stayed silent, not wanting to give him any false hope.

Within a second, he rushed to the edge of the cliff, looking down into the deep abyss. Fred didn't waste any time and pulled him back. "Mr. Jin!" he yelled through the chaos. "Are you crazy? We're so high up!"

The man in the suit was drenched by the harsh rainfall. He knelt near the guardrail, hair poking out everywhere. He rested his hands against the handrail, letting out a shaky sigh.

Fred pulled him back from the railings. He knew that the man was devastated by the loss of his wife. Nathan had never cried, yet he stood there, crying out for his

ink the same.

If you agree, type in a 'yes' and send it to me. I guess I'll see it from heaven.

Take care, my dearest brother. I hope to see you again in the next life. Hopefully, we'll still be brothers by then. The biggest regret I'll have is that I didn't protect you as I should've.

All the best to you. Your dear brother, Damian"

"Mr. Jin, Mrs. Shi said it was too late when they were brought to the hospital. Damian was the one who placed the poison in his parents' water." Fred couldn't help but be sorry for his loss.

Nathan didn't expect that Damian would resort to this. He couldn't help but feel touched, and his eyes watered at the thought of his brother leaving him.

Mandy was gone, and she took away every spout of joy and hope from within him. After that, Nathan couldn't see himself smiling again.

The flowers bloomed and wilted. Once Christmas came, the harsh rain was exchanged with beautiful snowflakes in City A.

At No. 520, Haibin Road

The handsome man licked his thin lips and stood in front of the French window, showing no signs of sadness or joy. He recalled the woman he had from years ago, how their laughter blended with each other as they admired their first snowfall. He looked quietly at the courtyard, alone in his thoughts.

The snow on the moss told him that his love would never return.
