Chapter 429 The Expected Date Of Confinement Is In July

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"I just wanted to buy a piano to practice. You don't have to buy me the most expensive one in the store! I can't pay you," she said in hushed whispers once she dragged him to the corner of the room.

"It's fine." He shrugged. "I can pay for it." Before she could stop him, he already handed a black card over to Miss Lu.

Once they walked out of the store, Mandy huffed, staring up at the man beside her. "I'll pay you back," she promised. The piano was worth eight hundred thousand dollars. Although it was a lot, she was going to find a way to get that much money.

"Take it as a wedding gift," Damian said while holding the steering wheel. Money was just an object to him. He already had enough of it anyway.

"You've sent me so many gifts already," she insisted. It wouldn't be right to owe him too many favors, especially since they weren't that close.

"Why not? You can take it as a gift from me to your baby. Is that okay?" He had his eyes on the road, but his voice was firm. It seemed as if he didn't want to back down either.

Mandy only narrowed her eyes at him. She was going to return the money no matter what.

After a while, they finally returned to the villa with a truck trailing behind Damian's car. Within minutes, four bulky men got out of the truck and carried the piano into the villa.

Leading them into the living room, Mandy pointed at the large space near the patio. "Put the piano there, please."

They gripped the edges of the piano properly before setting it down in the large space. Once the piano was settled properly, they all breathed out a sigh of relief.

It was already nearing noon, and Lillian had already prepared a variety of dishes. She placed all of them in order with a proud smile on her face.

"Why don't you stay and have lunch with us?" Mandy suggested.

Hearing her words, a happy smile bloomed on his face. Damian quickly pulled a chair and sat down. "Sure, I'll have lunch with you."

Surprised by his acceptance, Mandy shrugged. She had only invited him out

"Why do you use the word 'borrow'? I don't like you using that word." He frowned. "Sorry...

But, what do you want me to say?"

"Just ask me to give you the money."

Mandy pouted. "I don't want to make it a habit."

"Don't be silly. I'm your husband. Even if you want eight hundred million from me, I'd give it to you in a heartbeat."

She swooned, placing a hand on her chest. 'He's so kind to me, ' she thought.

"Nathan, you're so kind," she spoke what was on her mind, smiling.

"But why do you need so much money? Is there something bothering you?" He furrowed his eyebrows in concern.

Mandy shook her head. "It's not a big deal. I just received a few gifts from Damian this morning. After that, he bought me a piano. I was supposed to buy the cheapest one, but he insisted on the most expensive one, which costs eight hundred thousand."

Nathan frowned. "He brought presents"

"He said they were wedding gifts. I haven't opened them yet."

Nathan quickly stood up. "Where are these gifts? I want to see them," he demanded.

"They are in the living room." Seeing his face darken, Mandy was already becoming nervous.

Without another thought, Nathan rushed downstairs and unwrapped all the gifts. He inspected them carefully. When he was sure that none of them had a monitor or a listener, the anger on his face subsided.
