Sitting on one of the main chairs, Daisy's eyes glistened with tears after the event. She folded her hands together, and her lips twitched up into a wide smile. "Amazing," she mumbled.

Madeline was also deeply touched by the event as she placed a hand over her chest. She was grinning from ear to ear. Who wouldn't want her daughter to live a happy life? This had been her biggest wish ever since Mandy was born.

With warm, broad hands holding Mandy's small ones, they slowly walked down the aisle.

Nacy and Simon soon followed once they had exchanged their vows and wedding rings. In a few minutes, the wedding ceremony was over.

The dinner was held in the most prestigious hotel in City A. Due to her pregnancy, Mandy wasn't able to drink, so Nathan drank double the glasses. The groomsmen did the same. By the end of the night, all of them were drunk.

After the reception, Simon and Nacy took a private plane to the Bali Islands, where they were to spend their honeymoon. Mandy wasn't able to go, since she was pregnant. As they saw the plane take off, she couldn't help but feel a twinge in her heart.

At No. 520, Haibin Road

In the bridal chamber, Nathan muttered drunkenly, "Honey, you're so beautiful."

Mandy managed to wrestle him back to the bed as she popped open his collar.

His handsome face was clouded by the amount of drink that he'd chugged down. He wrapped his hands around her wrists as he smiled up at her. "Let's go on a honeymoon, okay? Where do you want to go?"

Mandy chuckled, sliding herself into his arms. "I'm pregnant now. You have to wait for another eight months."

"For you, my little baby, daddy has to wait for a very long time." Nathan's hand stopped on top of her stomach as an unknown glint flashed in his eyes.

Noticing the stra

andy's nagging echoed in his ears. 'You have a heart disease. You know you can't smoke. Have you taken your medicines on time? Come in for your next check-up in two weeks.'

It was then he realized something. Damian had always been competing with Nathan ever since they were kids. Although they were born into different families, Nathan always had the upper hand. Without much effort, the man always seemed to win. Damian just wanted to win once over him.

However, he wasn't expecting that he'd fallen in love with Mandy in the process.

Until now, he still couldn't figure out if it was because he truly loved her or if it was due to his desire to win over Nathan.

He opened his mouth and puffed out rings of smoke.

Damian stood at the balcony, hands over the railings as he looked up at the starry night.

He really wasn't expecting that Nathan would marry her so soon. They had grown up with each other, so he knew a thing or two about Nathan. He wouldn't be willing to go through with this marriage if he didn't love Mandy fully. And from the report that Jennifer had given him, and the little interest he showed her, it seemed Nathan had truly moved on from Sharon completely.
