"You're making it sound like I've not bought you any imported snacks!" Mandy pouted at Fiona's words. She had never thought that her younger sister would take Nathan's side.

"Sure, you've bought some snacks for me before. But you didn't buy as much as Nathan did!" Fiona fired back.

"I don't love you anymore, Fiona!"

"Ha-ha... You should love me, Mandy! You know I love you so much!" Fiona teased.

"My silly chick, you know I picked the choice of imported snacks. It was just Nathan who paid for them. Shouldn't you be grateful to me?" Mandy explained to Fiona.

"Sure. If it's Nathan who paid the bill, then why should I be grateful to you?"

"Humph, you ungrateful girl!" Mandy exclaimed before a smile took over her face.

"Sister, please don't say such things!" said Fiona in a bratty tone.

"Whatever." Mandy mumbled, still pretending to be cross with Fiona.

"Oh, my dear sister..."

"You're going to be an auntie, Nana," Mandy said with a smile as she drove the car into the residential community. There was a brilliant gleam to her eyes as she looked ahead.

"What? Mandy, does that mean...you are pregnant?!" Fiona exclaimed. She was both thrilled and startled, her shrill voice almost breaking Mandy's eardrum.

"Hush... Not so loud! Be quiet!"

"Oh, my little baby, I'm your auntie!" Fiona said sweetly as she unfastened her seat belt. She leaned sideways and reached out a hand to touch Mandy's belly.

Soon, night fell, and lights began to appear around the city.

Sitting in the front passenger seat of Nathan's car, Mandy got a little nervous as she fidgeted with her pink cashmere coat.

"Honey, why are you feeling nervous? It's not your first time to meet them," Nathan smiled. His magnetic and low voice filled the quiet hum of the car. His attention was on the road ahead of them, but out of the corner of his eye, he saw Mandy's serious face.

"It's different this time, you know," Mandy said seriously before she turned her attention to him.

"Don't worry. My mother likes you very much!" Nathan said as he tried to comfort Mandy. The look in his eyes was so intense and doting.

Mandy smiled, breathing a little easier this time. Her first impression of Dais

ut a chair for her like a true gentleman.

Their families mingled together, exchanging pleasantries and stories before their dinner was served.

"The sparerib soup is nutritious. Eat more, Mandy." Sue smiled as she offered a healthy serving of the sparerib soup to Mandy.

"Thank you, Grandma!" Mandy said as she took the bowl from the older woman. Happiness was written all over her beautiful face.

Sue was so happy to hear how Mandy was carrying her great grandson.

"Mandy, you are so thin. You should eat more meat!" Daisy said before she put a piece of beef into Mandy's bowl. She was seated on Mandy's left.

"Thank you, Auntie!" Mandy said, turning her attention to Daisy.

"My silly girl, why are you still calling me 'Auntie'?" Daisy said in a sad voice.

"I mean, thank you, Mom!" Mandy said, smiling sheepishly at Daisy.

"You're welcome. Enjoy yourself!" Daisy said, patting Mandy's shoulder. Joy glittered in her eyes.

Everyone had a nice dinner. Mandy was very happy. After dinner, the elders of the two families discussed the wedding details.

Everyone sat around with smiles on their faces.

"The wedding ceremony will be held at the Wind Resort. The Bride fetching ceremony will start at ten o'clock in the morning. Jason, do you think it's better to take a plane or a fleet of ultra-luxurious cars? I'm concerned that there might be a traffic jam in downtown then," Daisy said aloud as she took out a tablet she had prepared beforehand.
