Nathan nodded, looking amused. "I'm not kidding. Nacy called this afternoon. We can't let them take the first move, can we?"

A smile crept onto Mandy's lips as her gaze flitted to her stomach. She caressed it tenderly and grabbed Nathan's arm and placed it on top of her flat stomach. "That is not going to happen, we have this."

Nathan knelt and smiled at Mandy's belly. "Yes, Baby. You must be good while you're in your mommy's belly. Otherwise, your daddy might have to teach you a lesson when you come out." He chuckled.

Mandy slapped his hand away and hugged her belly protectively. "Hey, how can you say that?" she asked in mock horror.

"I was just kidding." Nathan lifted his arms innocently.

"What if our son becomes afraid of us?"

"Eagles do not breed doves. My son would be as brave as his father," Nathan said, puffing his chest proudly.

"How do you know that it is a boy? What if it is a girl?"

"Didn't you say that? That you were carrying my son?"

"Well, that was just a casual statement." Mandy chuckled, biting her lips.

As they continued to chat, the elevator came to a halt, and the door opened.

Mandy covered her mouth and continued to laugh.

"Well, it's funny to watch you do household duties." Her face was flustered with happiness.

"What's so funny about it? These are survival skills you know?"

"Oh, yeah? Then why do you never do this at the villa?" Mandy asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, we have Lillian for that."

"Oh, come on, admit it. You are too lazy to do all of this." Mandy chuckled.

"What can I do? I live with a big lazybones all the time. That is why I become lazy." Nathan smiled and winked at Mandy.

Mandy folded her arms across her chest. "Who is this lazybones? Who is this lazybones that you are talking about?"

''Who else would it be? She is staring at me right now." Nathan washed the last dish on the sink and turned off the tap before drying his hands with a towel. He wrapped his arms around Mandy's waist and ushered her to the hallway.
