Chapter 407 You Will Know Very Soon

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
The sudden absent-minded expression that passed by her face was caught by Nathan. As she held her hand above the crystal glass, her mind flashed with her memories of Sharon.

As her fingers trailed down the smooth glass, she quickly withdrew them as if something had just nudged her back to reality.

Without saying a word, she went down stairs, with her face turning slightly cold.

Lillian had been in the kitchen for a long time, whipping up a full table for dinner. She was just waiting for Nathan and Mandy to come downstairs.

Just as she was about to call them, Mandy was already rushing down.

Seeing Lillian waiting for them downstairs, Mandy forced a very stiff smile onto her face. "Lillian."

"Miss Zhou, come and have dinner." Seeing the two's faces, she decided to talk less this time.

Mandy started to eat, glancing up at Nathan, who stared at her as if nothing had happened as if they had absolutely nothing to talk about.

There was silence in the dining hall. As Nathan peered over at her, he could sense that she was still upset from what had happened earlier. In order to ease the tension, he placed a piece of meat into her rice bowl.

Mandy sneered, placing the meat back in his bowl. "I don't want to eat that."

"You don't want to eat anything, do you? That's fine then." The weird ironic smile was back, threading quickly into his lips as an unreadable emotion passed over his gaze.

Before she knew it, Nathan had already picked her up and dragged her to the fitting room as if she were a dog on a tight leash.

He placed a fur coat over her shoulders before dragging her outside.

"What... What the hell are you doing?" she stuttered as she was met by the cold night breeze. Her teeth chattered

ound hers, frowning when he noticed how cold her hand was. Without another thought, he held her fingers as he placed them into his pocket.

They were betting their entire lives right now.

"I'll marry you!" She grinned.

"Silly girl." Nathan held her in his arms and placed his chin on top of her head. "I don't know the person who sent me that message, okay? Please trust me."

Hearing that, she couldn't help but realize that she had been too narrow-minded the entire afternoon. She slapped him on the chest. "I was so angry when I saw that message, and since you didn't want to get married, I thought..." she paused. "I thought you'll abandon me."

"I will never let go of your hand for the rest of my life," he confirmed, reaching out and fixing the stray strands from her face.

She was already beaming from his words, looking completely sated as her bad mood disappeared in an instant.

They finally walked out of the elevator.

"Nathan, you just said that Nacy and Simon are going to get married next Friday, didn't you? Is that true?" Mandy asked in disbelief. 'They've only just met. Why are they deciding this so quickly?' she thought.
