Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"If I'm a lazy bug, then you're a big black insect." A sly smile knitted its way onto her lips as Mandy crossed her arms, like a child who was being picked on.

"And why am I a big black bug?" He narrowed his eyes; however, a part of him already knew that this was going to be a trap in itself.

She squealed in laughter. "Your skin may not be black, but you have a black heart."

He scowled at the accusation, but he couldn't really think of anything else to say now. She was the most precious treasure of the Jin Family, and even throughout their squabbles, he still loved her.

"How about the big white bug then?" she teased, pushing the envelope to him.

Her infectious laughter echoed throughout the kitchen so loudly that Madeline and Stanley craned their necks at the sound.

Madeline couldn't help but tilt her head. She hadn't heard her daughter being this happy in ages.

Stanley simply smiled and sipped his tea. In all honesty, as parents, they didn't really want their children to strive to be successful. Instead, they should strive to be happy, and seeing Mandy this joyful brought warmth in his heart.

"Hush! Keep your voice down, you'll scare uncle and auntie," he instructed, placing a finger on top of her lips.

Her laughter had died down in a few seconds before she stood up and grabbed some milk from the refrigerator. She quickly boiled water and whipped up two cups of tea.

Stanley was the only member of the family who loved to drink tea. Nathan may not love tea, but he did drink it, especially if the elders were having any.

He placed the cups on the tray, and they w

untie, you don't have to worry. I'll take care of your daughter," Nathan promised, taking Mandy's hand in his.

Mandy couldn't help but be moved by his words.

He was a complicated man, but she loved him either way.

She just couldn't believe her luck.

In the evening, Stanley and Madeline insisted on keeping Mandy and Nathan at home for the night.

Madeline had urged that they go to bed early as pregnant women tire easily.

Realizing that Nathan needed something to wear, Mandy quickly picked up a pair of pajamas and brought it to him.

They were blue and checkered as well as brand new.

When Nathan got out of the shower, she handed the pair to him. "It may not fit you though," she warned. "Since you're tall."

He was taller than her dad by a good 12 cm, so when Nathan wore Stanley's pajamas, half of his leg was exposed to the wind, which made for an interesting sight.

Mandy went inside the bathroom and took a shower. When she came out, she saw Nathan holding onto her photo album, which contained all the pictures of when she was younger.
