Chapter 406 Stop It

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
For monetary reasons, Miss Li thought it would be good to go on a blind date with Damian. What made the entire thing better was that he had a handsome face to go with all that cash, which would make it easier for her to go along.

"I'm not asking for much. All I want is that you fulfill the responsibility of a wife," he said easily, a smile carving into his lips.

"And what is a wife's responsibility?"

"Once we're married, you have to listen to me. Take care of my father, go shopping with my mother, pay all the bills, wash our clothes, clean the rooms. Not only that, but you also have to prepare our meals three times a day. You're not allowed to ask me about my whereabouts or invade my privacy. That's it for now."

The more she heard, the more her face twisted in outrage. "Son of a bitch!

That's just plain sexist, you scumbag." She stood up from her chair, slamming her hands on the table in front of her. The demands were just outrageous. She wasn't going to accept any one of them.

"Scumbag? And you? Do you think it's easy to marry a rich man? Do you think you're beautiful? Are you great at sex?" His blunt words only fueled the argument at hand.

Miss Li grabbed the cup of coffee and poured it all over Damian's head, making sure to drench every single inch of his 'designer' clothes.

"Asshole!" she spat as she stomped out of the coffee shop.

He closed his eyes, inhaling the stench of coffee that surrounded him. He wasn't angry. Instead, a smile threaded ac

own emotion flashed in his eyes, and the corners of his lips twitched up into an ironic smile.

"What are you smirking at?" she demanded, worried at the crazed look in his eyes.

"Hmm... Do you really think you can do whatever you want?" The crazed smile was still there, drawn on his face, as all warmth drifted off.

She couldn't help but tremble at the sight. She felt as if the temperature of the room had dropped to the coolness of the Arctic Ocean. He was cold to her, like the first time that they'd met.

"You're an ass!" she snapped. With the baby still in her stomach, she could do whatever she wanted.

"I've never said that I'm a good man. Don't get me wrong." Nathan smiled lightly.

She grabbed her coat and jumped out of the bed.

The violin in the bedroom was placed in its original position. Although she didn't think much of that before, something about the object still looked familiar to her. As she stared long enough, she couldn't help but think back to Sharon.
