Chapter 397 You Know Best Whether I Am Talking Nonsense Or Not

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"Don't try to cause anything between me and Mandy." Nathan loosened his grip on Damian's collar before shoving him up against the wall. The coldness on his face was growing more and more evident from the start.

"Do you really think no one knows of your past? Do you really think no one knows why you decided to see Mandy in the first place?" Damian lifted his gaze and adjusted his polo collar. However, he still remained unaffected by Nathan's intimidating stance.

Hearing this, Nathan's dark eyes swept over at him. His stare hardened at the sight of him, looking like a devil who had crawled out from hell. It was enough to leave goosebumps all over Damian's neck.

"That's enough!" Nathan growled out. "You know nothing of it."

However, on the inside, Nathan was growing more and more anxious, worried about what Damian still had over him.

"I really do feel sorry for Mandy. I mean, a substitute? It just doesn't suit her at all." Damian shook his head, his words dripping in sarcasm and mockery.

"Shut up!" Nathan growled once again. Under the hospital lights, he looked like a wolf on the prowl.

Damian laughed. His voice echoed throughout the hallways. "Aw, do you feel guilty now?"

"Get out!" Nathan shouted through gritted teeth.

"Obviously. I didn't plan on staying here forever. By the way, the doctor had just told me that Mandy's working too hard recently. She's also been pretty stressed out, so you should take better care of her. A pitiful woman she is. All she wants is to love you despite not knowing how much of a trap this is." Damian shrugged.

Nathan's hands clenched into fists, drawing near Damia

she didn't expect that Nathan would start before her. He really was considerate.

"I want to eat minced pork with egg, okay?"

"Okay, I'll buy it for you now. Stay here and don't get out of bed," he instructed.

She nodded repeatedly, her stomach already rumbling at the thought of eating the minced pork. "I'll wait for you," she called.

The sunset peered across the curtains, creating a trail of orange light. It looked absolutely beautiful, like a canvas ready to be outlined.

Mandy lay down on the bed in the VIP ward, admiring the view before her.

In the past few months, her life had undergone a tremendous transformation after she met Nathan. From an unknown doctor, she was now the director of the Cardiology Department, an impossible feat for a newbie like her.

After knowing him, Mandy had learned a lot, but it seemed that she had lost a lot too.

She couldn't help but think back to Daniel. She had always thought that she'd marry him; however, it seemed that road had faded away. Although he'd send her emails occasionally, Mandy never really entertained him.
