Chapter 379 Bonnie Commits Suicide

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"Mandy, I only wish for your happiness. Your father and I are getting old. Even if we lose everything, we don't want to lose you as well." Madeline lowered her head sorrowfully.

"That's not possible!" Mandy folded her hands on her Mother's, tears already welling up in her eyes. A lump was now rising in her throat. "Mom, Nathan really takes care of me, okay? I'll be okay, and you would never lose me."

Mandy knew that Madeline's biggest fear was for Nathan to mistreat her, so she wasn't planning on telling her anything of what she'd been thinking. However, even then, Nathan was really good for her. Even if there was another man in the world who'd love her the way he did, she wouldn't love him as she did with Nathan.

"You shouldn't lie to me, okay?" Affected by Mandy's words, Madeline had to choke on her own sobs. Tears welled up in her eyes as she turned away.

"I'm not lying, Mom," she said firmly.

"All right, all right," Madeline said, waving her hand. "Let's head back. Didn't you ask me to teach you how to knit that scarf?"

They laughed as they held each other's hands once again as if their conversation had never happened. Although the night was freezing cold, the two's hearts were as warm as the hearth.

Sitting in the car, Nathan lowered his window to get a better look at Mandy from afar. He had followed her the whole night–from the time she went home from work to the time she went out to shop with her mother. Although he could not see what Mandy had bought, he could see the tears that ran down her cheeks.

He frowned, noticing that she looked even more distracted than usual.

What was she thinking about?

It was already noon, and the sun was shining t

ace in his mind. She must've felt depressed after that.

People all have their own desires. Some may be happy to see their lovers with someone else, but there are some who were dead set on their lovers.

Bonnie was taken to a VIP ward. Thanks to the timely rescue, it wasn't life-threatening. She had suffered from a major hemorrhage and needed some time alone.

Eve, Bonnie's parents, and Simon's parents were all present in the VIP ward.

With a pale face, Bonnie finally shot up from her slumber as if she'd just woken from a deep sleep.

"Bonnie, you're finally awake!" Her mother wrapped her hands around her, sobbing, "You scared me to death."

"Is it all really worth it, Bonnie?" Eve was angry, her eyes already rimmed. She had been having nervous breakdowns the moment she knew of the news.

Like Bonnie, she had also lost her own love, but that didn't mean she wanted to stop living. She still had hope. It was something that she needed to hold in these times.

"Bonnie, why did you try to kill yourself?" Her mother demanded, twitching and flinching from all the recent happenings. "If you die, I'll die too!"
