Arriving a grey Aston Martin, Damian jumped out gracefully as he headed over to the outpatient department.

Today was one of those days when Mandy would go on duty at the outpatient department. She'd usually go there once every week while Damien would return for his checkup once every two weeks.

She was busy all day. With patients coming in every minute, she didn't even have the chance to catch her breath.

The familiar voice made Mandy look up from her screen. Seeing that it was him, she expertly grabbed his medical record and swiped her card into the machine. "How can you be sure it was sent by a patient?"

"Should I guess that it's from Nathan?" He peered at her.

"Who told you I was here to see a doctor? I'm here to see you." Damian didn't even think too much when he blurted out those words.

Mandy flushed red, irritated by his words. She took the medical record and shoved it into Damian's arms. "Have a nice day."

Damian could only shrug in reply. "I don't expect you to see me off, Doctor."

"Humph! Ass." Once he had already left, she turned back to the computer, silently seething.

However, even as hours had passed, she couldn't help but replay that conversation in her mind. Who had Nathan been in love with in the past?

A part of her was so eager to know the answer, while the other part of her would rather turn a blind eye at such things. What if the woman was brilliant? What if she came back for him?
