Chapter 376 The Day For Interview

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Sometimes people tend to dig their own grave, and that was exactly what Eve had done. It would be too late by the time she realizes her mistake.

Nathan pursed his lips, and his fierce eyes were shooting daggers at Eve when he saw her.

The intensity of Nathan's stare made Eve's stomach queasy. She clenched her fists and looked away.

"Let's leave. These two fucking bitches always manage to ruin my mood," Nacy sneered distastefully.

"Okay." Mandy nodded before glancing at them.

Eve shuddered when she saw the nasty look on Nathan's face. She had ruined everything between them. Although Nathan had been mad at her before, he had never looked at her with disgust.

Nathan and Mandy walked hand-in-hand, while Nacy and Simon followed the couple happily. When they arrived at the restaurant, Nathan had booked the entire place, so they were the only ones there.

However, Mandy's mind was elsewhere. Nathan's birthday was nearing, and she had not prepared his gift yet. She felt guilty about it and berated herself for not being as thoughtful as he was.

Nathan thought that Eve had made Mandy upset and loaded her bowl with chicken, her favorite food, thinking that it would lift her spirits.

But to his utter disappointment, Mandy sat there poking the chicken pieces with her chopsticks, without taking a bite.

"Gosh!" Mandy grunted.

Nathan frowned and looked at her. "What's wrong?" he asked, shoving a piece of food into his mouth.

Mandy's cheeks flamed with embarrassment, and she shifted her gaze to the food. She was so deep in thought that she had not realized that she had almost blurted her thoughts out loud. She nodded her head and mumbled, "I'm fine."

Mandy was racking her brain to find the perfect gift for Nathan. She had been quiet during dinner and stared out of the window without looking at Nathan on their way back home. Nathan was worried about the sudden change in Mandy's behavior. He wondered what on earth was bothering her.

However, Nathan's questions were answered by a perfunctory 'I'm fine', which drove Nathan insane.

"Mand, go take a shower," Nathan said as his face was filled with concern when he saw Mandy sitting on

k suit and was standing in front of the French window with his hand in his pocket. The sunlight was bouncing off his body, casting a shadow on his face, revealing a lopsided grin.

He nodded as he was listening to what the person on the other end of the call was saying. He clicked his tongue and said, "And remember, no extravagant, flashy outfits. Nathan likes simple, elegant women."

The woman on the other end of the call smiled, revealing two cute dimples. She listened to what the man was saying while she examined her reflection on the mirror and adjusted her clothes. She was wearing a hazy blue sweater and a pair of gray loose pants that made her look like a professional.

"No! Don't meet me. I don't want anyone to find out that we know each other. Got it?" The man hung up the call and sat heavily on the sofa. He rested his arm on the back of his head and let out a loud sigh.

The annual recruitment of JS International was going to commence today. The success or failure of the man's plan would be determined by the interviewee's fate. He would take his first step towards his objective if she got through the interview.

The sharp knock on the door broke Damian's reverie. He snapped his head up to look at the secretary smiling at him.

"Mr. Shi, you've scheduled an appointment with the doctor today. You have to be at the hospital for your examination," the secretary said while peering at the iPad to study Damian's schedule.
