Chapter 358 Let Her Feelings For Him Stay In Her Youth

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"Of course not. We are friends," Nacy smiled. The words came out of her mouth, but they were half-meant.

"Come with me, okay?" Simon took hold of Nacy's hand and gave her a determined look.

Nacy wasn't sure if this was the right thing to do. She was not sure if associating with Simon now was a good idea. Perhaps it would have been a better idea to treat him like a stranger.

Before she could make a real decision, Simon grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her away. He was so powerful, and there was nothing Nacy could do but go along for the ride.

Finally, they arrived at the pavilion in the school garden. There was no one there but Simon and Nacy.

Before Nacy could say anything, Simon spoke up. The words came right out of his mouth, and he did not hesitate. "It was all my fault, Nacy. I'm sorry, but I was so hesitant to show you my true feelings. I was not courageous enough to face what I really feel. But I don't want to be that way anymore, Nacy. I want to live my life with no regrets. I like you, Nacy. I like you a lot, and I'm not afraid to say it anymore."

Simon's words were more blunt and dramatic than the soap opera she starred in. His words caught her off guard, and she didn't know what to say at first. Eventually, Nacy gathered the courage to say, "Simon, I have to admit that I once liked you, back in school. But that was in the past." Nacy narrowed her eyes and avoided making eye contact with him.

Simon pressed his lips and frowned slightly. He said in a calm tone, "I know, I know all about it, Nacy. So could you give me another chance?"

"Love is just like a mirror. There was once a crack in our relationship. Even if we can fix it, do you think it's the same as before?"

Nacy believed that she saw the situation in a more logical light. She once had feelings for Simon, too, and she was once devastated when Simon announced his engagement with Bonnie. But that was all don

t was enough to make Simon feel uneasy.

If Bruce had refused her directly that day, maybe Simon wouldn't have broken off his engagement with Bonnie. Simon felt that there would be no chance for him if he didn't confess his love to Nacy.

"Okay, I understand," Simon said. His voice was full of dejection and hopelessness.

Simon knew that this would be his only chance to profess his love for Nacy. He had heard from Nathan that she would attend the school anniversary. Nathan's information was spot-on. What he didn't expect was the painful way in which Nacy broke his heart.

"I only hope that, from now on, we are still friends. If you don't want to be with me, I won't force it," Nacy pressed her lips, which were painted with pink lip gloss, and said calmly, "I'm sorry." Simon's handsome face showed a trace of loss, and his heart was deeply stung.

"I'm really sorry, Simon." Her tone was again firm.

Simon's heart was completely broken into a thousand pieces. He could barely keep it together.

Nacy turned around, but her cold eyes were filled with tears

Looking at Simon's disappointed expression, Nacy really wanted to hug and comfort him, but she knew that she had to restrain this crazy idea. She did not want Simon to see her crying as she walked away.
