Chapter 359 The Brothers Went Home Together

Simon gazed at Nacy's retreating figure with his head hanging down in disappointment. His heart clenched as tears blurred his vision.

He couldn't find it in himself to attend the other anniversary activities. Instead, he found himself sitting in the pavilion alone, contemplating his thoughts.

At the Yu Family Mansion

After the activities that went on at the school anniversary, Ethon took Colin home. He was ecstatic at the idea of spending time with his older brother. It was rare for him to spend time with them. He remembered how angry Monica was when she knew that her husband had another son named Colin, thinking that they'd fight over family properties. However, Ethon didn't care about that. All he truly cared about was spending time with his older brother.

Even then, he couldn't help but think it was unusual that Colin rarely spent time with them and how he'd addressed their dad so formally.

Weren't they supposed to be family? And shouldn't family contain no formalities?

Wearing a poker face the whole time, Colin followed Ethon into the household, changing into their slippers at the entryway. Although he rarely visited them, Colin was still familiar with the place.

Usually, he only visited once a year. This time...He was making an exception.

With a newspaper in hand, Malcolm was reading the news. Suddenly, he raised his head when he heard two very different voices coming from the entryway.

She knew of her husband's intentions. He wanted Colin back, but Colin didn't want to be brought back. Although Colin took his family name, he never really recognized his father as his family.

Before Ethon was born, Malcolm had chosen a name for him, which was to let his two names sound similar. Only in this way, they felt like a family. Besides, Ethon had been educated to respect Colin since he was a baby.

After dinner, Colin wiped the corners of his mouth with a tissue, glancing up at his father. "Father, I have something to discuss with you."

"Okay." He nodded. "Come to the study with me."

Seeing Malcolm being so affectionate with Colin infuriated Monica again. Ethon looked so much like him! Why did he love Colin more?

"Ugh!" Monica threw her chopsticks at the other end of the room.

Ethon lifted his head, knowing fully well that this was a bad sign.

"Mom, are you okay?" he asked helplessly.
