Chapter 357 Mandy Finally Revealed The Past To Nathan

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Being wrapped in Nathan's firm embrace made Mandy stronger. She was composed and in control of her emotions.

"Well, that melody is called 'Star, ' and I composed it."

"Why did you get so very excited when you heard that melody?" Nathan asked indifferently, but a lump had formed on his throat, and his vision became blurry.

"Nathan, you've always wanted to know about my past, including..." Mandy trailed off. "Well, you've been asking about the scar on my chest for a long time. I think it's time to tell you the truth. The truth about my past." All the emotions that Mandy had tried hard to suppress and that she worked hard to ignore resurfaced, drowning her. She took her hand from the quilt and traced her finger on the scar on her chest.

"Okay, I'm all ears." Nathan's eyes narrowed as he felt sorry for Mandy. He did not know how to react.

"I had a wonderful friend. She was my best friend, and we shared everything without any inhibitions. She was more like a sister to me." Mandy buried her head in Nathan's chest and held him tightly as if she was afraid that he would run a mile after hearing the truth. Mandy was shedding the strong facade that she had built over the years and was like a vulnerable child, cradled into Nathan's chest for dear life.

"I miss her." Tears that had welled in her eyes were slowly streaming down her cheeks.

Nathan's lungs constricted, and he felt as if something heavy had settled on his chest. He had despised Mandy with all his heart in the beginning. But time had changed everything. Today, after hearing the truth, his love for Mandy grew multi-fold. He was filled with guilt and regret. He couldn't deal with the emotions that were hitting him with full force. Nathan couldn't stop questioning himself. Had he done something wrong?

Nathan's jaw tightened as he became angry with himself. He hated himself for being such a prick and inflicting pain on Mandy. He wanted to punish himself for making out with Mandy for the first time when she had been drugged.

Things would have been different if he hadn't gone to the bar that night.

Nacy narrowed her eyes, utterly oblivious to what had happened. She was unrecognizable without makeup.

She was wearing a light pink silk shirt and a denim skirt. She was looking like one of the schoolgirls.

She suddenly felt warm as something settled on top of her. Nacy opened her eyes, and her gaze settled on Simon's handsome face.

Her eyes widened, and she sat upright. Simon's gray jacket slipped from her shoulder and fell on her lap.

Nacy rubbed her bleary eyes and glanced at Simon as her face flushed with embarrassment.

It had been a long time since she had talked to Simon. The last time she saw him was on the big screen in the square.

She couldn't understand what had caused the weirdness in their relationship.

Nacy trailed her fingers across the jacket and lifted her head to thank him.

Simon smiled and stopped Nacy as if he had read her mind. "Nacy, you don't have to thank me. We are friends."

Nacy bit her lips and looked down to hide her embarrassment.

They had been good friends once, but things had changed. They couldn't even think of what to say to each other. Just when Nacy was starting to feel awkward, Simon spoke again.

"I know that you don't want to see me." He smiled sadly.

Nacy lowered her hand and clenched her fists while Simon's jacket was still lying on Nacy's lap.
