Chapter 262 Is It Funny To Deceive Me

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"Why? Why? Why..." Nacy covered her ears with her hands as she dropped to the floor, the questions repeating over and over again in her mind. Tears dripped down on the carpet, but she didn't seem to mind.

Both Bruce and Mandy had both lied to her at the same time. One was her good friend, while the other was her crush. They played her like a fiddle. Nacy had thought that Bruce understood her that he knew she liked him, and she was just waiting for a response. No wonder he kept refusing her. It turned out he was just using her.

Nacy couldn't help but feel disgusted with herself.

"When did you find out? How long have you known?" Nacy whispered as she sat on the sofa, trying to calm herself. Back when she had just met him, Nathan had already warned her that Bruce was a bad guy. Obviously, she didn't give it much thought, but now...Now, everything seemed to be puzzling back together.

"It's been a long time." Nathan shook his head, not wanting to deceive her. She was his favorite cousin, and she was like a sister to him–something that he'd even address her as. His heart ached at the sight of seeing her suffer because of that asshole.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Nacy's voice was trembling now as her tears started to flow continuously down her cheeks.

"It's my fault. I didn't tell you because I thought you'd get even more upset. I tried to warn you, but you didn't believe me," Nathan whispered as he wrapped his arms around his cousin, stroking her hair as he tried to calm her.

"If you'd told me about their relationship, then I wouldn't have been so stubborn." Nacy leaned into his arms and broke into sobs.

Why? Why couldn't he just love her? Was it that difficult to fall in love with her? Was she just that despicable?

"I'm sorry..." he whispered again, feeling the guilt pool in his voice. "It's all my fault."

"Nathan, have you broken up with Mandy?"

er jaw, glaring up at him.

"Let me hold you," he whispered, loosening his hold on her. "The wall's cold."

She sneered. "Don't be such a hypocrite."

Was this woman created just for the sake of pissing him off? All he wanted was for her to be safe!

"Watch your words," he snarled out.

Mandy turned away from Nathan, feeling her heart racing in her chest. She didn't care about him anymore, and she wasn't even in the mood to see him–at least those were the words she kept reminding herself of.

"You called someone to do that, didn't you?" she accused.

"No, I didn't," Nathan said in a low voice.

Mandy scowled. Did he dare lie to her? Right in her face? Who else would attack Bruce but Nathan? He had every intention of doing so!

"You'd lie to me? Is that it?" Mandy snapped out loud, feeling her vision darken in anger.

The look in Nathan's eyes froze as he gazed at her intensely. "I didn't have to ask someone to hit him." His voice was as cold as the Arctic Ocean. "I did it myself."

Mandy blinked in shock before growling at him.

"Why did you do that? What do you want?" Mandy wanted to scream at him, to strangle him, but she knew this would not affect the man. As long as he refused to stop, this wouldn't end so easily.
