Chapter 261 Mind Your Own Business

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
After Nathan and Simon had vented all their frustrations on each other, the two finally calmed down. They said their truce before heading to Nacy's apartment.

Nacy was settling on the sofa, watching a television series where she starred. Usually, whenever she didn't have anything to do, she'd watch her own acting skills, trying to see where she could improve.

Just then, the doorbell rang.

Nacy strode over to the door herself, as both her assistant and agent weren't with her.

"Brother? Simon?" Nacy gaped at the appearances of the two men before her. Their faces were swollen and bruised as if they had just gotten into a fight. What had happened? From what she could remember, both of them were always busy with their own work without any time to interact with one another. 'Don't the two of them have to go to work?' she thought.

"Why are you here?" Nacy asked, leaning on the doorframe.

"Can't I see my lovely sister?" Nathan smoothly walked past her, applauding himself when she didn't even stop him. He dropped on the couch, letting his back sink into the cushions.

Nacy shut the door and crossed her arms. "Don't you need to go to work today? When did you come back?"

"Yesterday. I gave myself a holiday." Nathan smiled, waving his hand dismissively.

Nacy turned her attention to Simon, eyes narrowing at the bruises on his cheek. "And you?" she demanded. "Care to explain what happened to your face?"

"I got into a fight," Simon replied honestly. His fingers trailed across his cheek, a hint of bitterness trailing on his voice. If it hadn't been for Bruce hitting him, he wouldn't have been in this state.

"What? You fought? Did the two of you gang up on someone?" Nacy glowered at them, putting the pieces together.

Their silence only proved her right. She plopped down onto her seat, rubbing her forehead as she sighed. She looked like a mother who was about to give a lecture. "Ho

was completely ridiculous!

"What? 'Ever since they were kids?' What do you mean? They grew up together?" Nacy froze, furrowing her eyebrows. All the anger left her mind. Instead, it was now replaced by a flurry of confusion and bewilderment. "I don't believe you." It can't be true. It just couldn't be!

"If you don't believe me, then ask him." Nathan frowned, knowing how painfully his words had pierced her heart. He hated the fact that he was hurting her, but what else could he do? He needed to open her eyes.

"Bruce isn't that kind of person! Mandy isn't either!" Nacy started to shake, tears about to spill out of the corners of her eyes. "It's not true. It's not true!"

Seeing her state, Simon immediately wrapped his arms around her, trying to calm her down. She was saying those words repeatedly as if she was a broken recorder. After a few seconds, she fell silent. Just then, she looked up at Simon.

"My brother lied to me, didn't he?" A small smile appeared on Nacy's face as her voice shook. Her hands gripped at the fabric of his shirt, pulling him towards her as if forcing him to tell her what she wanted and needed to hear.

To her disappointment, he simply shook his head. "He didn't lie, Nacy. It's true, or else we wouldn't have done what we did."
