Chapter 209 I'll Allow You To Walk Over Me All My Life

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"Why did you do that, Nathan?" Mandy asked in a trembling voice as she bit her lips, her eyes filled with fear.

When the traffic light turned green, Nathan loosed his grip on Mandy's hand, withdrew it, and placed it back on the steering wheel.

"She hurt you. She deserves it!" Nathan growled. Coldness and determination was written all over his face.

Mandy seemed to sympathize with Narissa. Although Narissa was a hateful woman, Nathan shouldn't have gone as far as sending her to a psychiatric hospital. That was way too cruel.

She just couldn't imagine what it was like in there being surrounded by people who were actually mentally challenged when she knew she wasn't.

"I really don't know what to say, Nathan," Mandy bit her lip and sighed.

"Mandy, you're too kind. You should be hard to those who want to hurt you. If you can't do it then leave it to me. This isn't the first time that someone's going to hurt you and when that happens, I'll make sure to protect you. You know, all I want is the best for you," Nathan said, glancing at Mandy whom he could tell was sorely upset.

Upon hearing this, Mandy fell silent. Was she a burden? She felt like a burden to Nathan. He wouldn't have done that to Narissa if it weren't for her.

"Nathan, just live and let live. Okay?"

"Mandy, you're acting like you don't know me. I never miss the opportunity to take revenge on our enemies. I only ever take an eye for an eye, no more and no less," Nathan said, grinning, though his eyes had seemingly darkened.

His tone was very relaxed, but Mandy was feeling anything but relaxed. It seemed as if he was only doing all these terrible things for her.

"I just don't want you doing things like that for me!" Mandy said as she lowered her head, visibly upset.

"I'll do anything for you, and you know that. I don't mind being the bad guy as long as it's fo

with the likes of her if she wouldn't get anything in return.

"Cas, this is a shopping center. You don't need to wear sunglasses. It's just making people look. I'm not recognizable with what I'm wearing anyway so... There's really nothing to worry about," Eve said. It was quite thoughtful of Eve to dress down, knowing that she was going shopping with Cassie today.

"Miss… Well… Eve, that's so considerate of you!" Cassie blurted out. She had stopped herself from calling her Miss Su again.

"Are you hungry? Why don't we eat first?" Eve suggested, smiling. She looked beautiful.

They went to a fancy restaurant; the type couples went to on a date.

As Cassie walked beside Eve in her plain white shirt and jeans, she couldn't help but feel like she didn't fit in here. If Even hadn't brought her here, she wouldn't even attempt to go in here.

"The steak here tastes good. Would you like to try it?" Eve said as she handed the menu to Cassie.

Cassie glanced at the menu and saw that the cheapest steak that they had was over 1000 dollars. She figured it was probably delicious if it was that expensive.

"Eve… Isn't it too expensive here?" Cassie asked. She closed the menu, looking worried. She didn't want to owe Eve anything.
