Chapter 190 Glad To Be Good-Looking

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Mandy was a simple girl. There was no way for her to fall in love with Nathan for his money.

"Tell me something. What do you love about me, Mand?" Nathan looked serious when he stared into Mandy's eyes.

"Hmm...I don't know. I love you a lot. The twinkle in your eyes, your eyelashes, your soft lips, your fingertips..." Mandy knitted her brows, lost in serious thought.

"Come on! People judge everyone by their looks. Do you like me because I look good?" Nathan said as a smile crept on to the corner of his lips

"Yep. That's exactly why. Congratulations on your good looks!" Mandy joked, popping her tongue out.

"Should I be thankful then?"

"Thankful? For what?" Mandy asked.

"I should be thankful for my good looks. That was how I could make you fall in love with me," Nathan teased.

Mandy chuckled. "Mr. Jin, don't flatter yourself!" Mandy's mood was instantly better when Nathan was back to his old self.

"Why don't you ask me where I was tonight?" Nathan held the steering wheel with a tight grip. The light flashed on his cold face, revealing his melancholic eyes.

"Please tell me." Mandy had a faint smile.

Nathan's grip on the steering wheel tightened. Nathan felt that Mandy was smart enough to wait for him to tell the truth.

"I was having a discussion with Simon regarding the piece of land." Nathan shrugged nonchalantly. Nathan felt that the lie was convincing enough for Mandy to believe.

But Mandy was a smart woman. She stared at Nathan with doubtful eyes, trying to read his face.

"Is this the truth?" Mandy arched an eyebrow.

"Yes, it is!" Nathan said.

"Didn't JS international buy that particular piece of land? What does it have to do with Simon?" Mandy said in disbelief. She felt that Nathan was lying.

"Simon has been begging for a long time to invest in that piece of land. So I agreed." Nathan's statement was partially true. Simon had been after the land for a long time.

The piece of land Nathan had won by gambling with Justin in Las Vegas was highly sought-after. Almost all merchants in City A

ly walked upstairs. Nathan took a shower, and Mandy brushed her teeth. It had been a long day.

When Nathan walked out of the shower, he saw Mandy was fast asleep. He smiled at her innocent face and quietly crept on to the bed without waking her up.

The next day

At JS International

Simon walked into the CEO's office. He was a rare visitor.

"I think a lady was sleeping on your couch." Simon waggled his eyebrows. It was the first time he had found a chestnut color, curly strand of hair on the sofa. Simon knew Mandy had jet-black, straight hair, so he believed that it was definitely Eve's.

"It's a pity that you are not a detective." Nathan rolled his eyes.

"Ugh! I truly feel sorry for Mandy. It's a pity that she is your woman," Simon said dramatically, shaking his head.

"I think it's better if you focused on your fiancé before talking about my lady," Nathan chuckled, stressing on the word "fiancé." Simon rolled his eyes.

"It doesn't matter if she is my fiancé or not. I've no interest in marrying her," Simon said helplessly.

"Then whom do you want to marry?' Nathan raised an eyebrow in suspicion.

Nathan had understood what was going on in Simon's mind. He knew that he and his fiancé were not getting along with each other. They were always picking fights, but things were better now as they never had the chance to meet each other.
