CHAPTER 15

I’m How, Taming

Xing Er followed Jing Yue’s gaze and he was suddenly stumped for words. He had just wanted to open his mouth and speak yet he saw Jing Yue had already walked in large strides towards the horse’s side and raised her hand to take the rein from the guard’s hand. Her efficient move in mounting the horse made Xing Er’s eyes went bright.

“He (neigh)……” As soon as Jing Yue got on top of it, the black horse started to struggle violently. Ominous glint flashed in its eyes as if it wanted to throw Jing Yue who sat on its body off.

“Not good.” Xing Er’s expression changed. That was one fierce horse, unless master tamed it first, no one would dare to ride on it.

Xing Er had just wanted to step forward and help Jing Yue stopped the black horse, yet unexpectedly, he saw fury flashed in Jing Yue’s face. She suddenly used all her power to tug at the rein, leaned towards the horse’s ear and coldly threw two words out: “Be quiet.” There was a shiver in Xing Er’s heart. He had thought this horse would turn Jing Yue over to the ground.

That was a horse, how could it heard and understood human’s words?

Yet the following moment made Xing Er gaped in amazement. Surprisingly after Jing Yue’s two words, that black horse really calmed down in a strange way. It was pacing in place with its head hanging low as if it was somewhat worried and afraid.

“This……” the guard beside them was so scared that his face turned pale. He originally believed he would see a tragedy happened, yet he didn’t expect the ending would be like this.

“You…… How did you do that?” Xing Er stood beside the black horse and had wanted to reach out and stroke the black horse to make sure whether or not its temper had changed now. However, he didn’t expect that his hand hadn’t touched its body; it had already been avoided by the black horse in one slant of its head. Only then Xing Er was certain, it wasn’t that the black horse’s temper changed, it was because of Jing Yue.

“I’m how?” Jing Yue bewilderedly blinked her eyes. She then happily stroked the horse’s hair and said: “This little black horse is really obedient; you just follow me in the future.”

Obedient?

Xing Er’s cheeks twitched severely as he watched the black horse moved its feet in a fawning and extremely happy manner. He suddenly felt that he somewhat couldn’t accept this. Finally, under Jing Yue’s urging, he followed Jing Yue out of the city gate and went into the forest.

“She just used two words to tame that wild horse?” Xiao Chen sat high above; his whole body was in an ink black official robe. He narrowed his eyes slightly as he played with an exquisite wine cup in his hand. A flash of interest flickered in his eyes.

“Yes.” A black clothed guard bowed in front of Xiao Chen and hung his head down. It could be seen faintly that at the time he spoke, amazement was shown in his eyes.

“Interesting.” The corners of Xiao Chen’s mouth rose slightly. He suddenly recalled the time Jing Yue was inside the forest and the gray wolf staying at her side; could this woman really have been living inside the forest as well as had some kind of special ability to tame animal?

“Have you found out her identity yet?” Xiao Chen moved his gaze to look at that black clothed guard and asked.

“Not yet, Huang Fei’s past is a blank sheet, it might take a while to investigate.” the black clothed man spoke cautiously and raised his eyes to glance at his master; he was afraid that his master would be unhappy and would wipe him out.

Xiao Chen’s face exposed a faint displeasure, he coldly said: “Investigate.”

“Yes.” Black clothed man suddenly trembled in his heart. He bowed to answer yes and immediately withdrew from the room, his heart franticly cried out: finished, finished, master was not happy.

Jing Yue and Xing Er, two persons were going toward the inner part of the forest. Jing Yue continuously sighed with sorrow; had she known riding a horse would be this convenient, she would have raised a horse from the beginning; that way, how could she work herself to death scrambling on top of the trees?
