CHAPTER 16

Going All Out, Chase to Kill

“Huang Fei, eat some food.” Xing Er brought the rations on his hands up.

“Ke ke ke(cough)…… What did you just call me!?” the water she had drunk into her mouth had not yet been swallowed down when she heard Xing Er called her like that. Both of her cheeks went red as she suddenly came up with violent coughs.

“Huang Fei.” Xing Er said once again.

“Stop stop stop……” Jing Yue, being called Huang Fei by Xing Er, flushed with anger and stopped Xing Er’s words in a hurry. She earnestly stared at Xing Er and said: “My name is Jing Yue, not Huang Fei. I haven’t married* your family’s Huang Shu, wrong……, it’s I haven’t married your family’s Huang Shu, so you cannot call me Huang Fei.”

Jing Yue, in all earnestness, began to educate Xing Er. Xing Er’s eyebrows were wrinkled when he listened.

Xing Er stared at Jing Yue and spoke in equal earnestness: “Master has notified the whole world, it doesn’t matter whether you’re married or not, you are the Huang Fei, unless you die.”

“………” Jing Yue’s breath went sluggish; she was choked up speechless by Xing Er’s words.

Jing Yue racked her brain wanting to say something to change Xing Er’s thought. Just as she was pondering, her ears caught something and she abruptly stopped; her sharp eyes swept the surrounding area. It was clear that Xing Er also found the abnormality; the long sword in his hand was slowly drawn out as he watched the surrounding vigilantly.

“Hu~” an extremely fast shadow swept past from inside the woods. Jing Yue’s whole body became alert; she slowly moved sideways and watched the surrounding. Just as she was about to move her feet, she suddenly felt a cold killing intent came to her back.

Jing Yue’s eyes changed. In a flash, she stooped low and rolled before taking the dagger inside her boots and threw it forward without the slightest hesitation.

“Ah……” a smothered sound came through. Jing Yue saw the shadow hiding behind a tree trunk was pulled backward and there was a slight tremble in those branches. Jing Yue widened her eyes and gasped when she saw countless black clothed men suddenly appeared.

“Huang Fei, quick run!” these strings of movement had scared Xing Er that his body trembled slightly. But his eyes suddenly brightened when he saw that not only Jing Yue managed to avoid the coming arrow, she had also managed to injure the opposite man.

“Damn, who are these people ah!” wrath flashed on Jing Yue’s face. She suddenly went on top of the horseback and rode it fast into the depths of the forest.

Xing Er looked at those black clothed people pursuing relentlessly behind them, his complexion changed and he said to Jing Yue: “They are the second prince’s people.”

“How could it be that second prince again?” Jing Yue was speechless. Did she and that person have any hatred between them ah!?

“Second prince wants to get rid of Huang Shu. Huang Fei, you are Huang Shu’s person; naturally, second prince will not let you off.” Xing Er very calmly explained.

“So all of these are Xiao Chen that damn man caused!” Jing Yue was immediately furious when she heard Xing Er’s words. No wonder she always felt that she was really unlucky these days. So, all of these spreading troubles were provoked by him.

Jing Yue stared at the darkening sky and used all the strength to rush the horse. In the depth of the forest, this speeding horse startled a lot of birds into fluttering their wings. Jing Yue face became a bit grave; she brought two fingers to her lips and blew a loud whistling sound.

Confusion flashed in Xing Er’s eyes when he saw Jing Yue’s action.

Jing Yue’s eyes twinkled, the corners of her mouth were hooked into a shallow smile and she leaned her head toward Xing Er and said one sentence: “Get ready to go all out.”

“………” Xing Er was silent for a moment before he understood what Jing Yue had mean; could it be that Jing Yue wanted to fight recklessly?

* (我跟你家皇叔还没结婚,不对……是还没成亲)

(Wǒ gēn nǐ jiā huáng shū hái méi jiéhūn, bùduì……shì hái méi chéngqīn)

Both of them mean getting married, but from what I know, the difference is the subject, one is woman, one is man, one is married out, one is married into…… (so it was kind of difficult to translate……, I’m sorry if I got them wrong)

I have a correction for this one!!! Hahaha, I got them wrong, thanks to rxaluto, ‘结婚’ is the modern form of ‘成亲’. So Jing Yue is saying ‘she isn’t married yet’ with modern words and then corrected herself using the traditional words. Sorry for my stupidity in this one <(>,<)>
