Chapter 183 183: Notifications I

The first thing Cole notice was a gate, it was one he remembered actually since it was the first thing he had seen before he stepped into Rowan Valley. Of course now it was Raen Valley, which in his humble opinion was a much better name than Rowan. He shrugged and moved down, his territory was still close to the original Glade, but the darkling nest had also been quite close to the original barrier that had disappeared when they cleared it, so it was farther. And the entire landscape seemed to have also been restructured, his territory now sat on the edge of Glade Solitude.

It also meant that he really was a bit more isolated which worked fine for him. He came down the incline, smiling as he notice the vineyard was still the same, all the trees looked petrified. He would probably enjoy his time here when everything is cleared and he can start working the land again from scratch. Not that he had a green thumb or anything, but after all of the knowledge that had been stuffed into his head after the quests and encounter with that bloody goblin Titus, he had enough knowledge about growing and raising and orchard and a vineyard and how to raise some grain in order to make wines and some kick ass brews with magical effects.

He was not being a hypocrite though, as soon as he was done here, he would be returning back to the fourth floor and pushing for the fifth. That way once the pathway to fifth floor has been opened, the system universe and earth would be merged enough that he could find a location to plant his dungeon core, or which he currently has two, or at least some sort of core anyways. One he got from the second floor and the second he got from this floor after clearing the Darkling Nest. He would attach one to his territory here and then try to see what he could achieve in the real world. As soon as he reduces Cassandra and her son the next step would be to look for a permanent base, and it had to be somewhere good. Once the merge happens, everything he owns would be consolidated increasing his territory, so owning lots of land in the real world and here would be to his advantage, who knows maybe he would gain enough to own an entire state or a country….. or maybe even a planet.

From the fourth floor to the 25th floor is still a long way to go, and there would be numerous opportunities to make money and reinvest it. He has decided the direction he wanted his life to take, so that's exactly what he was going to do, build a family and a power that would rival anything his grandfather and grandmother has…. Or better yet that would be a mistake. Using them as a measuring tape would be terrible, there were bigger fishes than the both of them beyond the veil between worlds and he had to be strong enough to match them all.

"This place is a mess." Razor said from behind him as Cole turned around and gave him a rather amused grin.

"I know, which is why it would be your job to make sure it's not a mess." Cassandra whipped her head to the side as she looked at him, Cole shrugged as he explained.

"Your kid's sick, and I know what you want the most is to be able to protect him. My territory will be experiencing exponential growth with every floor I get into, however I can't always be here to look after this place. And the boy needs to slow down, he's young and all of this fighting and killing shouldn't be what his life should be about. I know for a fact he's weary about it and just wants to keep you safe even if all you want is to keep him safe." Razor gasped and asked Cole.

"Have you been spying on me and my doctors?" Cole raised an eyebrow and looked at him. "Yes. I'm paying for those doctors remember, they send me regular reports and updates on your condition. I checked through it before I logged back in. Never the less I'll leave the funds with you, I need you to get this place up and running or at least get it cleaned up. I need the fields ready for sowing, and the mines are over there to the east so create a path for the other aspirants , I'm sure the system will take care of the stipulations I've made. The forest is to the west over there so that's not bad either, just do the same thing.

You have to get the manor cleaned up, no need to worry about fixing it. The same thing for the factories behind, also you see anything weird here, kill it. The exp will do you some good. Your mother will definitely be moving ahead, but I know she wouldn't do so until you are safe. She's formidable with a battle acumen unlike any other, I need her strength and I need her stronger. Having her looking after you all the time will slow her down, but above it all I also need your mind. You're young so you can be molded, plus you can also hold your own in a fight and I am In need of some good and capable people to work for me."

"Will I get paid?" Razor asked, then Cole smiled at him, showing a fanged grin that was a little bit too sinister for the young man to deal with.

"Naturally! As soon as you've worked off the debt you and your mom owe me, then we can discuss a payment plan." The gasp of indignation from the boy made it extremely satisfying for Cole, who knew messing with a teenager could be such fun. But then again he was dead serious, this family not two owed him big time, and he Intended to collect back in kind or in value every last cent he has spent on them.

"You guys can wander around for a bit, I have a few notifications I have to look over." Cole said to them as he picked a spot against one of the trees and sat down cross legged to go through his notifications, he needed to take care of it and get back to the fourth floor asap.

Cole shuddered as finally all of his gains were reflected and he reach a new height of power. It was a shame that he was back to level 58, and that he lost millions of Exp, but by this point he was nigh overpowered with all of the titles he had at his beck and call. Or perhaps he was not yet as overpowered as he should be, the higher the floors the stronger the challenges. But even if all he did now was just level, gaining nothing else, Cole was still going to end up one of the most powerful people in and from his universe, all he needed was time.

But therein lays the problem, he had absolutely no idea how much of it he needed or how much of it he had. He has been fighting, growing and pushing himself to huger levels as if the system would be arriving the very next moment. Cole was not ashamed to admit that he was afraid, he did not want to be caught off guard when the day of reckoning finally comes, he wanted to have all of the strength necessary to protect himself and what he hopes to build from here on out. Because of that he did not have the luxury of even training like he wanted too, there was no time, he could only keep pushing forward and taking every opportunity to grow and become better, to become stronger.

Thanks to Tehilla he was pretty much cut off from his grandfather and grandmother. His elder brother's wife and kids were here with him along with his parents. They were the immediate family that he should have truly cared about and who had unequivocally chose to go with him, to pick his side and give up everything they knew and love just to keep him safe and protected from his own grandparents. Tehilla was right in the fact that he had to open his eyes to the reality of what his life and his family truly is. He had to learn how to trust the right people, and ultimately learn how to spot his enemies.

It would be a hard road, with a lot of price to be paid. But he that as it may; Cole knew, he would pay his due and break everything else in the process.
