Chapter 276 - Lu Fang's Vow

Not that she'd ever say no. Andrea was also looking forward to their wedding and finally, today it was happening. They were about to kiss each other when they were interrupted by Christina.

"Andy, Lu Fang, the kiss happens later. Let's start."

Their giggles were clear and everyone in the crowd could tell what happened. They also shared the laughter with the couple.

Chevre and Brie were brought to the front for their parents to kiss just before the ceremony began. After which the couple held hands all throughout.

Andrea thought her husband was exceptionally handsome that day. He showed the brightest smile and knew he was very happy.

The time when they were asked for their vows, Andrea was in shock! Her thoughts screamed inwardly, 'What the! What am I going to say? I did not prepare anything?'

The horror in her face was obvious to her husband, and it made him laugh completely.

As he was to go first, he faced everyone while holding up a microphone before announcing, "As you all know, my wife is unprepared for her vow. After all, she was not expecting to get married today. So, I'm afraid her promise to me can only be between the two of us. Nevertheless, I wish everyone who came to attend to celebrate with us learn how much I love her and thus, this is my story to tell."

Lu Fang turned to his wife and began his speech. Andrea thought she was prepared to hear it. The man had given her so many flowery words while regaining her memories, she thought, ' No, this will not make me cry.'

"Andy, do you believe in love at first sight?" Lu Fang asked.

She fell into confusion since she expected it would be a spontaneous narration coming from him. Seeing he was waiting for a response, she awkwardly answered by saying, "No. I don't."

"Good! Because I fell in love with you the second time we met."

His response instantly made Andrea's mouth twitch, and the crowd was in an uproar upon the man's strange admission.

"The first time I met you, I was a young boy whose thoughts were filled with playing video games and studying."

Andrea smiled gently, realizing they had met as children.

"Who would have thought that after sixteen years, our lives would cross and you would perfectly steal my heart."

"The second time we met, I became addicted to you instantly. I thought you were a strange one, hiding your beautiful face to the world. Like any other woman, I thought surely you would see me admirable, but no. Not you. You told me I resembled your foster father."

"Then I let you slip away. I was prepared to blow up the entire Beijing just to find you."

While his family found Lu Fang's words humorous, those who heard about ruthlessness merely gulped, realizing he was one to never let go of his purpose.

"The third time we met, I was never planning on letting you off. I thought I had lost my chances when you left my penthouse, but thankfully, you came running back to me." Lu Fang grinned as he said this. He then turned to the crowd, suggesting for them to pay extra attention for his next words. "I pursued you like there was no tomorrow. After all, I felt I was a man without inhibitions. I knew I wanted you and there was no stopping me."

"Thankfully, my efforts paid off. You gave me your heart, and it was never going anywhere else. Now, you are here before me, already my wife… my partner in life."

As the cameras zoomed in on Lu Fang, everyone saw the sincerity of his speech. They enjoyed every bit of the excitement he felt, warming their hearts altogether. However, the delight in his eyes slowly changed to fear and anguish as he gave them a glimpse of their recent endeavor.

To those who were not aware of Andrea's background only knew of her supposed accident, making her lose her memories.

"During the times when you were not beside me. I thought I would lose myself. What kept me going were our precious children, constantly reminding me every day to bring you back to our home at all cost... Remember me or not, it did not matter to me… I was confident my love for you could make you recognize your feelings for me."

"Thank you  - Thank you for loving me again and being back to the Andy that I love." At that point, Lu Fang's eyes and nose were already red, ready to flood at any time. However, he was a man in control and managed to hold it back.

Although he was successful at doing away from crying, everyone saw in the projector how emotional he had become. Those who doubted his feelings towards his wife now witnessed his true devotion to Andrea. There was no question about it, he loved her.

"I promise to provide you with everything you need. I swear to protect you all my life. I have committed myself to serve only you, my wife and give you all the happiness that I can bring. Everything is within my grasp so long as it is for you and our children."

"Babe, I am Lu Fang. I will always be here for you and I will always love you. I am your lover, your husband, and the father of your children.  I promise to do everything for you."

It was too late for Andrea. Her make-up was already stained in tears, hearing her husband's vow, but when she thought the man was done, he added a more unexpected list of promises.

"If that is not enough to convince you, I promise to be your punching bag for life. I promise to love cheese. If you get pregnant again, I promise to stock French Macarons and Chocolate Panna Cotta. I promise to source out all the fruits in the world in preparation for your cravings. I will do all the bending, I will continue to clean dirty diapers every Sunday and In all our arguments, I swear you will always be right."

The guests exploded in laughter at the man's endless promises to Andrea. The women cheered him on while some men shook their heads in disagreement.

"Lastly, I promise to stay healthy." Lu Fang winked at his wife before leaning forward and whispered to her ear. "This way, I can please you more often and effectively… down there -  Ahh!"

Lu Fang was punched in the arm. Andrea could not help but teach him a lesson, thinking perverted thoughts in the middle of his wedding vows.
