Chapter 242 - Your Wife Misses You

Lu Fang had left for Guangzhou with Go Bolin to look after a project with Global China. Andrea was more akin to the collaboration but given her memory loss, she has yet to get herself comfortable helping him with the business.

His decision to leave saddened her, however, she understood it was necessary.

He promised to come back and catch up with Yeong as her brother would visit in two days. She looked forward to the man's return since her period would already be over by then. She felt ashamed thinking about it, but she could no longer deny she was longing for it.

For the first time since her return, Andrea left the Lu mansion with Aunt Rosa and Hanxi. They were headed for the starlight tower to check on the furnishing that Go Bolin had made for their bedroom. From the parking lot, they went straight to the top floor.

The man refused to leave her unprotected. Not that she needed any, but having experienced losing her, he was not about to leave her on her own with no one acting as her guard. Thus, Hanxi stayed behind to accompany her.

As they walked, Andrea saw an image scorched through her head. She was looking at her hand being held by a man without a face. As they entered the door, she thought it was quite recognizable.

After walking in, Aunt Rosa began to guide her through the apartment, telling her of the time when she first visited. "You both came from the gym when I convinced you to take a bath while Lu Fang cooked breakfast for both of you. He made you - "

"Pesto chicken," Andrea interrupted. As she gazed through the kitchen and saw herself sitting on the table being served with the flavourful meat. The man's features were hazy in her vision, but everything fitted perfectly; Aunt Rosa's narration and including her husband's.

"That's right! You remembered?" Aunt Rosa asked excitedly. She had been equally concerned about Andrea's condition. She witnessed her master at a loss when his wife disappeared only to return losing her memories.

Andrea smiled at her sweetly and responded saying, "parts of it." She then lowered her head, disappointed to admit that what she recalled wasn't enough. "I wish I could remember everything."

"Don't worry, my dear, but it's a good sign that you had a little recollection... Maybe by going back to all the places you've been to will help! After checking your bedroom, why don't we go to your mansion?"

"Andy? Really? Have you started to remember?" It was Hanxi who asked, after just walking into the apartment.

Andrea squinted before responding, "It was just one flashback. Please don't tell my husband. I don't want him to expect much and just be disheartened."

She finished what she came for by checking the new bed set-up that would allow them to co-sleep with the twins now and then.

Their bed frame now had an extended crib where one side, facing their mattress, had open access. The crib was big enough to accommodate both twins but fenced tall enough to prevent them from falling off. She had Go Bolin to thank for being so efficient.

They dropped by at the mansion with hopes it may bring back some memories. She was told the estate was being maintained by a caretaker and often came by three times a week. From time to time, Aunt Rosa also checked on the residence.

Upon their arrival, Hanxi immediately went up to one of the rooms saying, "I'll just go get the games that I left behind."

Realizing Hanxi was accustomed to the place, somehow, Andrea easily felt at ease that she roamed the house freely.

Aunt Rosa followed her as she walked and later told her everything she remembered; remembrances of their stay and including their shameless acts. "You both almost gave me a heart attack once you were all over each other just by the hallway. You two could not wait to get inside your room!"

Andrea wrinkled her nose at the thought before turning red completely. Recalling how they had gone far, two nights before, it somehow did not surprise her anymore. She apologized for their display of affection, "I'm sorry Aunt Rosa - "

"Haha. It's okay, my dear. I was once young too, you know," she said while giving Andrea a thumbs up. They both giggled, understanding the deeper meaning of her gesture.

"You are the one master had paid attention to thoroughly, one he had a constant longing for. Me and Madame Christina Lu, we are both happy you came into Lu Fang's life… Why don't you head upstairs and proceed to the master's bedroom? It's the one on the right. See if it reminds you of anything," added Aunt Rosa.

Going up the stairs, every step she took made her heart beat faster. The feeling was so overwhelming that she placed her palm against her chest.

When she entered the room, she had to admit it was awfully familiar. She knew exactly where the bathroom was and the hidden drawers. She saw herself opening them, recalling its previous contents, how she fixed her hair in front of the dresser, and a few other short flashes of her in that very same room.

She did not see her husband with her visions, but her gut feeling told her it was Lu Fang who brought her in both homes... It was their home.

Lu Fang had only left the other night, but she already missed him. She realized she had gotten used to his scent, his touch, and his sweet goodnight kisses.

On the way back to the old Lu mansion, Andrea called her husband on the phone. It took the man a few rings before he answered, making her demand and say, "Babe, my number should have a different ring tone for you to answer immediately and as your wife, I should be your priority."

The man chuckled at her words before he responded, "Babe, it was. We were out on the site and it was very difficult to hear with the construction going on."

She let out a sigh before asking, "Are you about done there?"

"Not exactly, but Go Bolin and I are working hard to get things sorted out soon."

"Good. Come home soon… The babies miss you," Andrea said, feeling her face turn completely red at her cover-up, pinning it all on the twins.

There was a second of silence before Lu Fang asked, "Anyone else misses me aside from the babies?"

She did not answer right away. The man was about to divert to another question when she finally spoke, "Your wife…Your wife misses you… I miss you already."
