Chapter 231 - Hi Andy, It's Me

"Will you be there at the airport?" Lu Fang said on the other line.

Andrea cleared her throat before responding to him, "Of course. I'll be there. It's nice to hear from you."

Andrea realized his voice was so familiar. She reckoned she must have heard it a hundred times or more. He wondered how he actually looked like.

"Andy, Brie, and Chevre needs both of us. We'll stay only for two days and return immediately. We need to get home to our twins."

It worried her that she was going to an unfamiliar home in China that she gasped hearing the man's words. She wondered how his family would treat her and if they were will to accept her in this condition.

"I'm sorry. I couldn't remember - "

"What matters to me is that you are safe. Andy, don't think too much about it. Let's talk tomorrow when I arrive," Lu Fang assured her and just right before they ended the call he repeated himself, "God knows how much I miss you, Andy. You mean the world to me and I love you always."

She did not know what to say. It would be a lie if she said she loved him back. She wasn't sure of her feelings at the moment, but he made it easy for her and said, "I know it may be hard to answer me, Andy. I just wanted to let you know that… Goodnight."

"Thank you. Goodnight."

She laid in bed that night in deep thought. She was touched with the sincerity of Lu Fang's words and somehow she felt everything will all be all right in due time. She let out a heavy sigh and told herself, "This is the right thing."

Andrea woke up late the next day, panicking. She had to get ready, and she did not know what to wear. She ran to the next room where her sister was sleeping and knocked on the door forcefully. "Wen! Are you up?"

Apparently, Li Wen just woke up too. When she opened the door, her eyes were still dreamy. She had been exhausted these past two months in an effort to get back Andrea; it was just recently since she has had a good sleep.

"Sis, what did I usually wear in the past year, with Lu Fang?" Andrea asked straight away.

"You started wearing dresses," responded Li Wen, still in a sleepy tone.

Andrea pouted her lips and raised her brows before asking back, "I started wearing dresses?"

"Pfft! You were in love. People change, so yes." Li Wen was about to close the door when she remembered something. "Lu Fang sent you a package last week, remember? You did not open it? Could have sworn he said those were something you'd like to wear."

Andrea hastily went back to her room. She realized she had not opened the package. All that worry about losing her memories, she had overlooked too many things.

When she tore the box, she was stunned to see two beautiful casual mint green dresses. The one thing that would easily make her wear skirts would be her favorite color. It made her smile completely, and she told herself, "he absolutely knows me."

The sisters had a late breakfast before heading out for the airport and just as they were about to leave, Gabriel came out from the study. Andrea had not had a talk with him since last week. They both had practically avoided each other. With Li Wen constantly checking on her sister, there was no opportunity either.

Andrea just gave him a smile, proceeded to the hallway and was out the door swiftly. Li Wen followed but was quick to give Gabriel an I got my eye on you signal.

Unknown to Andrea, Lu Fang was also worried about meeting her. The times when they were apart, it seemed like an eternity and much has changed with her. He had longed for this very day. However, losing her memories was not something he had ever anticipated.

Alfred and his men rode with Lu Fang in Lu Wei's private plane. Hanxi was also with them, equally eager to see his sister.

Two Mercedes-Benz limousines were already parked at the VIP arrivals area and as the plane was maneuvering its way in the same direction, the man looked past all the other planes and equipment at the ground hoping to find his wife.

When the plane finally settled, everyone else came down the craft while Lu Fang took his time staring at the woman in a mint green dress, standing behind the black limo. He could not help but cry with contentment. He let himself weep for a few minutes before wiping his tears and deciding to get off the plane.

Hanxi first ran to Andrea and happily hugged her. He cried, completely relieved to have finally seen her awake. Alfred followed and gave her a hug as well. After seconds of embracing each other, Alfred let go and asked his daughter, "Your husband is here. Are you ready to meet him?"

She blinked a few times and gave several nods while letting out a heavy sigh. "Yes, I'm ready."

All that talk she had with Li Wen, she should be ready by now, but she felt her hands turned cold. She was nervous altogether.

When Alfred stepped aside, she was almost certain; she was in a movie. Everything was in slow motion. She saw a tall, alluring man with sexy sharp jawlines who looked like her dad, walking towards her. Each step he took, she heard her heart beat faster. The moment the man was half a meter away, all she could do was gulp down her saliva.

'What the f**k,' she told herself in silence.

"Hi, Andy. It's me," said Lu Fang. He wanted so much to grab her by the neck and kiss her passionately, but given her condition, he tried his very best to stay calm and hold himself back.

Andrea slowly raised a finger and asked, "Can - can you give me a second, please?"

She immediately pulled Li Wen nearly five feet away from them. When she saw that they were in a safe distance she started giving her hand signals, unable to speak. It made her sister utterly confused.

"What is all that hand gesture, Andy? I don't understand!" Li Wen complained.

"Li Wen! Why the f**k didn't you tell me he looked like an Adonis. Seriously! I could have put on make-up," Andrea went blabbering.

Li Wen shook her head and answered, "I showed you the pictures -"

"It's different in person and they were so small," she reasoned.

"Andy, go back there and give your man a hug. Now."
