Chapter 230 - Your Husband

Li Wen arrived very late at the Davies' mansion. She was surprised to see Andrea waiting for her in the living room. Her eyes were completely red and so was the tip of her nose.

"What happened?" Li Wen asked.

"I have babies?" Andrea probed as she remained seated on the couch, her knees up to her chin.

Li Wen sat beside her and gave her a warm embrace. She rubbed her back gently before saying, "Shhh… Hush. Hush. Babies are supposed to be a good thing. You should be happy that you have them."

"But I did not even have a clue! How terrible of me! Wen... I feel so- so terrible."

"I'm sorry, I have been very busy. We needed to put an end to our enemies, Andy. It just had to be done."

Andrea began to weep heavily as she was tucked in her sister's arms. She did not understand what she was feeling at the moment. When she learned, she had lost her memories and having to see unrecognizable visions; she felt like she was crazy. When she tried to recall her experiences, all the more, she thought she was crippled.

After an emotional hug, she told Li Wen upfront all her thoughts, including what transpired earlier in the evening with Gabriel. She immediately noticed the frown on her sister's face.

"Andy, I know you are confused, but please remember. You may have lost your memories but not yourself. You are still the same Andy that we love," Li Wen sat up properly to face her and meet her sister's eyes when she added, "You can make memories with Lu Fang and your babies. New ones! You've only lost 1 year. Others have lost a lifetime."

"Andy, if your dad, Alfred lost his memory, how would you feel if he decides to be a family to others and not you? I want you to think about that carefully."

It was obvious that Li Wen was disappointed with Andrea, but more importantly, she was upset with Gabriel. Although he made up by refusing her sister, she thought he should have not ignited any past flames considering her sister's delicate situation.

Andrea sniffed a few times and just stared blankly at her lap and hands. Eventually, she confessed her other fears, "What if Lu Fang won't accept me that I don't remember him?"

Li Wen came laughing out of the blue. This made Andrea frown. Here she was being dramatic and her sister mocked her.

"Oh, no! I'm not laughing at you! It's Lu Fang… Come here you, I want to hug you more."

As Li Wen comforted her sister, she told her, "Lu Fang would do anything for you, Andy. Losing your memories will not stop him from loving you… Trust me. He loves you that much."

"Andy?"

"Yes."

"If it is too hard to remember, then don't force it. Do you trust me?" Li Wen asked as she held Andrea even tighter.

"Of course! I trust you and Yeong the most."

"Then just let us tell you what you've forgotten… and accept them. Be the same Andy that you are and you've always been."

"Okay. I will, Wen. I don't know what I'd do without you."

"Hmmm… That's because I'm the smartest in the family."

Andrea chuckled at her words and soon they began to talk about Lu Fang and her babies. Li Wen started with telling her briefly how they winded up spending time together. It was ultimately thanks to a governor in Tianjin that forced her to stay by the man's side.

"One time, I called you to give an update about Rou Yanlin and then wala! You were apparently sleeping beside him -"

Andrea gulped at the revelation and immediately said, "Don't ever tell that to Yeong."

Laughter could be heard from Li Wen's side, following her reaction.

"I would never! I'm on your side when it comes to Lu Fang. Remember that." Li Wen then took out her phone and began to show her pictures. "Here are your twins. Aren't they adorable?"

She quickly grabbed Li Wen's phone and brought up the photos. Her mouth hung wide open, "They are so cute!"

"They're yours! They should be cute," Li Wen remarked.

"What are their names?"

"This little girl is Brie, and the boy is Chevre," answered Li Wen as she pointed out to each one.

"Oh, my gosh. There is no doubt about it. I named them."

"Yes, you did."

"Brie," Andrea smiled, and a tear fell down her cheek. "Sis, she looks so much like me!"

Andrea felt contented seeing her babies' pictures. Somehow, she now felt eager to meet them.

Unfortunately, Li Wen did not have a clear picture of Lu Fang. The ones she had on her phone were group pictures of when they got together. Sadly, none of them have any social media accounts. Andrea realized she will have to wait and see him when the time comes.

The two of them chatted until dawn all about Lu Fang, his family, and the twins. Andrea began to start memorizing all the names and even noting it down, just in case.

Li Wen was happy to see Andrea settled. She then complimented her, "See? It feels a lot better when you just listen to your old sis."

"Wen. You've always been the person I run to whenever I am in despair," Andrea said, thankful for her sister's presence.

"It happens to the best of us," replied Li Wen as she leaned to her side before announcing, "Lu Fang will be coming here with Alfred in a few days. We will be done soon enough."

"I'll bring you with me to the Davies' lair. Why don't you train? That will get your mind off your worries at the same time, gain your confidence back," suggested Li Wen.

In the succeeding days, Andrea put her heart out into training herself. She ran lapses in the residential compound early in the morning, then came with Li Wen to the facility afterward. She either helped her sister with the computer work or practiced on her battling skills with Alfred's men.

Time flew by too fast that Andrea didn't realize it and as she was getting ready to bed one evening, she received a call from an unknown number. She reluctantly answered and heard a man's voice on the other line.

"Andy, it's me. Your husband. I'm sorry, I have been busy."

"Oh, hi," she weakly answered, taken aback from getting a call from him.

"I miss you terribly. I'll arrive tomorrow with Alfred. Will you be there at the airport?"
