Chapter 64 - Chapter 63

CHAPTER 63 WHAT WILL BE THE ANSWER

@International_Pen

((( ZHIO )))

"You just ditched your meeting with a big investor, turned down some closable deals and now you're getting wasted in liquor?" he reprimanded.

"Can't you see how pathetic you look like?"

"None of your business. Get lost."

"I didn't waste my life raising you to be this piece of shit, Zhio."

Wenziel blurted angrily as he tried to approach. Before he could take a step, the bottle I was holding flew past him and shattered on the floor.

He stood frozen in surprise.

"For the money. Didn't you stay by my side just for the money?" words went out my mouth beyond my reasoning.

"That's all I'm worth, right?"

He was wordless.

But a shadow hurriedly sprinted towards us and punched me harder than I did earlier. It was Eriez.

Fuck.

"It's because we care for you," he grabbed me by the collar and gave me a weaker punch.

"as the child we never had. Can't you see how hard it was to stay by your side?"

"Then leave me alone!"

"Leave you alone and let you be worse than you already are?" Wenziel spoke calmly.

Compared to their ages, both men looked relatively younger and tall with strong physiques. Eriez's grip on me was unyieldingly tight. None of us wanted to give up but he released me after a moment.

"Even your father didn't raise you up to be that stubborn."

"Whatever. He's no longer in this world,"

I walked past them, past the sharp broken shards of glass, and wondered where else I could go.

(ERIEZ)

I frowned at his childish phase of rebellion. Blankets laid messily on the floor and his bed was soaked with spilled liquor. On the corner, Wenziel's prized bottle of Sauvignon was in shatters.

I sighed once more.

"Make sure he doesn't get out of the villa," Wenziel ordered to his men.

Maids entered to clean the mess and Sya stood by the corner in pure concern. I asked her to stay than go after Zhio.

"There was this woman," Wenziel stated out of the blue.

"That Zhio once took out with him. She might be our only hope."

I raised a brow at him. Was this the thing he wasn't telling me for a few months now? That must be why he wasn't so worried than I am.

"Who is she?"

"I don't know," he shrugged.

"I didn't interfere with things that much. But Deo must know by now who she is."

I smirked.

We're both really desperate huh?

"We're going to include her into Zhio's miserable story and hope things might change," he grinned back.

Sya looked sourly at us and shook her head.

"That doesn't sound good to me."

"Rest for the night, Sya," I turned to her with a budding smile.

"We'll take care of it for Zhio."

"Just like we did for James…"
