Master Hu was left fuming with rage when he saw that none of his own henchmen dared to move.

Never in a million years did he think that a sentence would frighten these bunch of useless trash!

‘Are these guys blind? There’s only one of him!’

At that moment, he could feel distinctly the blood trickling down his palm. If he left it like this any longer, he might lose his entire hand entirely.

Ye Chen ignored Lin Hu and instead stood up and took out a cigarette from his pockets. He lit it up with ease.

He was completely indifferent toward the life and death of someone else.

“Is it over? Why didn’t I feel anything?” Ye Chen finally spoke up.

Lin Hu’s eyes flickered with a hint of ruthlessness as his voice said coldly, “Don’t think I don’t know what’s going on. You’re doing all this so that you could get the protection fees from this couple instead. If you have the balls then just kill me! Otherwise, I’ll never give this couple a moment of peace for the rest of their lives! I’m sure you can’t cover them all your life!”

When Uncle Wang and Aunt Zhang heard what he said, their faces turned as pale as a ghost!

Never in a million years would they think that this young man in front of them was protecting them!

They were scared, really scared!

The young guy in front of their eyes was like Hades from the infernos of hell!

After everyone had left, Ye Chen retracted his evil aura and gave the couple a smile. He even took the initiative to wipe the bloodstains from the table with a paper towel.

He said apologetically, “Uncle Wang, I’m so sorry for breaking your table. Say, is it okay if I compensate with another one?”

It was because he just heard that the young guy called himself Ye Chen!

Aunt Zhang finally remembered who he was and covered her mouth with surprise. She said, “Ah Chen, where did you go? Five years ago, we went to your school to ask about you but your principal said that you’ve transferred to another school. Why did you do that without any notice? And where did you learn to fight this well? Did you join the military?”

Ye Chen nodded. “Yeah, I was in the military for a few years. I can beat at least ten of these trash like Lin Hu. Aunt Zhang, if this guy comes and disturb you guys again, just tell me and I’ll teach him a lesson he’ll regret for the rest of his life!”

“Silly kid. You’re supposed to protect the country when you’re enlisted into the military, not your Aunt Zhang.”

Ye Chen chatted with the two of them until 9 o’clock at night. During that time, Uncle Wang cooked up a few more dishes and opened up a few bottles of beer to enjoy with Ye Chen.

Most of the questions from the two of them were about what had happened in the past five years. Ye Chen did not reveal too much, He only told them he was in the military for a few years and had just been recently discharged.
