Chapter 46: 'Incubating”

Chapter 46: “Incubating”

In the inventory, Sean found that the description of the egg had changed a little.

Fantastic Beast’s Egg (Violent Instance) (Incubating) (Gold).

A violent animal. Sean licked his lips and looked. The negative emotion passed on by himself affects this egg. However, what Sean didn’t expect was that this egg actually started to hatch.

He transferred his negative emotions to this egg and actually felt guilty in his heart. Because Sean felt that he might have killed an unborn animal, but he didn’t expect that this animal actually absorbed those emotions, and even it started to hatch.

Sean rubbed his hands and took the egg out of the inventory.

“Oh?” He widened his eyes.

The eggshell with the original turquoise pattern is attached with fine, twisted bloodlines that tightly surround the edge of the pattern. The previous green fluorescence has also become a translucent red light, and the whole egg is covered with a kind of dark feeling.

It swayed gently and rhythmically on the bed.

“Hey, little guy, are you okay?” Sean put his hand on the eggshell.

He was surprised to find that his hand felt a movement as if it was pressed against a person’s chest, and that person was breathing rhythmically. The most important thing is that the frequency of that movement is almost exactly in line with the rhythm of his own breathing.

Sean felt a faint connection.

He gradually revealed a smile, and after gently stroking the eggshell, Sean put it back.

“Looking forward to the moment when we really meet. I will definitely make it up to you.” Sean walked out of the bedroom in a very good mood and happened to meet a girl who walked into the lounge with a huge book.

It’s Stephanie Ollivander. Since the last time she said she would give herself time to think about it, she hasn’t spoken to him on her own initiative.

“Good morning, miss.” Sean smiled and greeted him in his usual way of saying hello.

Stephanie, still wearing those gold-rimmed glasses, looked Sean up and down. She replied in her cold and ethereal voice, “You’re still alive. That’s good.”

“It’s a great thing to be alive, right?” Sean spread his hands with a smile.

Stephanie took off her glasses and stared straight at Sean with her beautiful pale blue eyes. Sean felt a slight sense of obsession, but it was quickly suppressed.

Hermione looked at her watch, “It’s lunchtime. Let’s go to the hall. You must be starving.”

“Well, it’s about time.” Sean nodded. His stomach is now really starving.

The two walked towards the Great Hall together. He received a lot of whistles and applause along the way.

“Sean, you are already a celebrity at Hogwarts, you know?” Hermione lowered her excited voice.

Sean spread his hands, “Well, I guess it’s not a bad thing.”

During lunch, Sean was hugged by the Weasley twins, who were at their peak of enthusiasm for a long time, and Ron also came over to express his gratitude.

“Actually, I didn’t help much either.” Sean smiled wryly.

“No, Madam Pomfrey said that your potion played a key role.” Fred said.

“Yes, without that potion, Percy won’t be able to last long. You even helped us go to the infirmary.” Said George.

“Although he’s a lousy brother.”

“But he’s still our brother.”

“He’s still alive, which is good news.”

“Well, Fred. I think that’s bad news.”

“I think you’re right, George.”

The twins joked for a bit and finally patted Sean on the shoulder, “If you need any things in the future. You can come to us, Sean.” Fred raised his eyebrows.

“Oh, and your underwear too.” George winked.

Sean smiled and nodded, “Thank you, Fred, George.”

Although the castle urgently needs repair, Sean is in a good mood and his mood is amplified at the dinner.
