Chapter 45: 'Fifty Points”

Chapter 45: “Fifty Points”

After walking out of the office, Sean paused on his way into the corridor.

The classical and luxurious castle is full of smoky traces, and many thick curtains have been burned. Sean also saw a half-burned oil painting, and several peasant women panicked and hid in the corner of the painting.

It seems that the accident caused by the Ashwinders caused quite serious damage. Going around the stairs that were mostly broken on the first floor, Sean saw a huge figure in front of him.

It was Hagrid, searching the dark corners with a lantern with his coat full of things.

“Hey, Hagrid. It’s nice to see you here.” Sean stepped forward and greeted him.The origin of this chapter's debut can be traced to N0v3l--B1n.

“Oh, hey, Sean!” Hagrid turned his head, then gave a surprised smile, “How are you? You must be all right since Professor Dumbledore took care of you. “

“I’m fine. What are you doing now?” Sean and Hagrid shook hands.

Holding the lantern, Hagrid shrugged his shoulders, “Looking for the eggs of those Ashwinders. I cleaned them up last night and tried to see if any eggs slipped through my patrol. Well, I found quite a few.”

Sean stretched his head and looked at Hagrid’s pocket, which contained seven or eight Ashwinders Eggs with a Flame-Freezing Charm.

“Thank you for your hard work. By the way, can you tell me what happened to me back then?” Sean asked.

“Oh, right, you fell asleep,” Hagrid showed a look of fear, “Professor Dumbledore suddenly appeared in the castle, and he cast a big flame. Those crazy, bloated Ashwinderes calmed down, and the other professors and I spent the night looking for the eggs to prevent them from appearing in the castle again.”

“I have never seen such a situation like this in Hogwarts for so many years.” He shook his head and sighed.

Sean nodded thoughtfully. It seemed that Dumbledore had calmed the Ashwinders. However, the eggs of the Ashwinders that had already been laid should have burned a lot of places.

“Well, glad that everything’s alright now, and so do you.” Hagrid patted him on the back hard, and Sean felt like he was hit by a car.

Sean rubbed his back and said with a wry smile, “Hagrid, I’m still a child.”

Cedric patted his shoulder, “Professor Dumbledore gave you fifty points! Don’t you know?”

“Fifty points?” Sean’s eyes widened.

“Yes, fifty points! You saved Percy and dealt with the Ashwinders’ accident. Everyone knows that.”

Sean stopped and asked suspiciously, “Did Dumbledore say that?”

“Uh,” Cedric showed a strange smile, “Fred and George did.”

“I knew it.”

“I know you’re fine, but after falling asleep, the two of them told everyone about it. I remember they said that when you wake up, they will wash your underwear for a month.” Cedric shrugged his shoulders.

“Well, that’s unnecessary.”

Cedric looked around, and after confirming that no one was there, he whispered, “Don’t worry about you summoning that blue ring of fire. We didn’t tell anyone about it. Even Fred and George are keeping it a secret.”

“Thank you so much about that,” Sean showed a puzzled expression, “Dumbledore was there, right? How did he make it away?”

Cedric’s eyes lit up, “Dumbledore just waved his hand and circled your flame in the infirmary.”

“Charlotte was in a hurry and kept screaming ‘Sean’s still in there’, but Dumbledore said you’ll be fine, and then,” Cedric put on an odd look, “The room was blown into ruins by a blue fire dragon, and you were asleep in the infirmary’s ruins.”

Sean smiled embarrassingly. His spell indeed blew up the infirmary.

After saying goodbye to Cedric, Sean returned to the tower where the Ravenclaw lounge was located. The students all seemed to be out to help repair the castle, and the common room was empty.

Sean returned to the common room, changed his robes, and opened the panel. He didn’t forget about the magical beast egg that saved his life.
