Anna is in the Demon Realm (2)

Oh, she had already given her soul to the demon, so was this what it was like to be soul-controlled?

But……

Anna looked at the bed cover made of white lace above her head and felt the softness and silkiness under her body, and she couldn’t help falling into contemplation.

Was this a hallucination?

“You’re awake!” A sweet female voice beside her said in surprise.

Anna turned her head slowly and saw a beautiful blonde girl standing beside her bed. Her skin was as smooth and white as porcelain, and her long hair the color of sunshine made it hard for others to look away. There seemed to be a whole world hidden in her jade green eyes.

Anna felt that she was looking at an angel.

She collected herself for a moment before saying, “I… am I not dead?”

“No.” The angel-like girl smiled gently, with a hint of shyness in her smile, “Is your name Anna? My name is Catherine, let me know if you feel uncomfortable or if there is anything you want.”

Anna was silent for a while and asked, “Where am I?”

Catherine said: “The Demon Realm, in the castle of the Grand duke of Abyss.”

This was not at all surprising.

Anna wanted to sit up, but she had no strength. Catherine hurriedly helped her up.

Anna lifted the blanket and looked at her right hand. Before, the whole hand was almost fractured to pieces, but now it was intact. She clenched her fist. Except for some weakness, there was no pain.

She looked at Catherine and said, “Can you tell me exactly what happened, from the beginning?”

Just as Catherine was about to speak, a slightly familiar frivolous voice came from the door: “Babe, let Roth speak for himself for this matter.”

Balan walked in through the door, took Catherine into his arms, kissed her on the forehead lightly, and then looked at Anna. Seeing that she was not surprised at his “resurrection”, he couldn’t help exclaiming: ” Anna, you really knew about everything a long time ago?”

Anna looked at Balan, and then at Catherine, who was shy in his arms, and smiled: “You invited me to your castle before, but I thought I was the only one who was invited.”

Balan’s expression changed, and Catherine, who was in his arms, also looked at Anna in surprise, as if thinking about what she meant. Balan quickly covered Catherine’s ears, walked out with her in his arms, and glared back at Anna.

Anna smiled as usual, unresponsive to his threats.

She had already fallen into such a situation; did she need to worry about offending a demon?

Balan gently coaxed Catherine as he walked out, and when he reached the door, he said, dissatisfied: “Watch your woman!”

He and Catherine went out and Rothgarr came in.

Anna looked at the man–no, demon–who came in through the door. This was the first time that he did not appear as a blurry image. As he slowly walked towards her, the sense of oppression he brought to her gradually increased.

She felt that her mental strength was not bad at the moment, and she could feel the natural elements around her, but she couldn’t even think of confronting him.

The gap in their strength was too big. If she started anything, she would just be asking for trouble.

Rothgarr stood by the bed and looked down at Anna with a sneer: “You really like provocation.”

Anna looked up at the familiar yet unfamiliar demon in front of her, faintly feeling that things might be different from what she had originally guessed.

She didn’t know what to say, so she asked what she was most worried about before she fell unconscious: “Did Natalie and Leon get saved?”

Rothgarr’s face darkened immediately. He never imagined that the first thing Anna would say to him when she woke up would be this.

He sat down directly on the edge of the bed, stared at Anna with a sullen face, and said, “When did you know I’m a demon?”

Anna looked back at him and said, “You tell me how Natalie and Leon are first.”

Rothgarr stared coldly at Anna.

Anna also looked at him without showing weakness. She already sold her soul, so what was she afraid of?

Looking at Anna’s stubborn appearance, her eyes clear and without fear, Rothgarr turned his eyes away. He said indifferently: “When I took you away, the people of the church had already arrived.”

Anna finally breathed a sigh of relief when she heard his words. She struggled for a long time and didn’t end up escaping the demon’s poisonous hand. She couldn’t let Natalie and Leon be implicated.

“Now tell me, when did you know?” Rothgarr saw that Anna was moved by the news of Leon and Natalie. He was full of displeasure, and there was a bit of coldness in his tone.

Anna thought about it. She didn’t lie, and told the truth: “I knew from the beginning.”

Rothgarr frowned.

Anna added: “When you possessed Parrish, I was able to see that it was you in his body.”

Hearing Anna’s words, Rothgarr’s indifferent face cracked.

How could it be, how could she possibly see through his possession?

He stared at Anna: “Not even the Pope can see through my possession, why can you?”

Anna: “…I don’t know either.”

She guessed that the most likely reason was because she had transmigrated here, but there was no need to say this. Besides, the demon might not understand it.

Rothgarr looked at Anna, his eyes cold from shame and anger. He asked, “So, you knew from the start that it’s always been me. You just watched me pretend? Was it fun?”

Anna moved back uncomfortably, but behind her was the head of the bed. She could only hide by moving away from Rothgarr, but he suddenly grabbed her arm, preventing her from shrinking back, and said coldly, “Answer me!”

Anna looked at the horns close at hand, his pale face, blood-red eyes, and the stern look in those eyes. She sincerely felt fear from her life being held in the hands of others.

She opened her mouth and said softly, “I was just protecting myself. If you knew I could see you the whole time, you would kill me.”

Rothgarr frowned slightly. If from the very start he knew that someone could see through his possession, he would indeed kill them.
