Two-Star Mage Promotion Assessment (1)

A total of 24 mage’s disciples signed up for the one-star promotion test. Among them, a total of five people passed. Anna took a look around; the ones who were happy were the older ones. There were some older ones who didn’t pass, too, and they left sadly.

There were also some younger people who were not upset seeing their result of failing, probably just like those people who would take the college entrance examination in their second year of high school, just to practice their skills.

There was also a line of words below the result sheet; those who passed needed to hand in their badge to the promotion examination registration office as soon as possible.

After Anna waited for Natalie to calm down, they went to the registration office together. The other three mage’s disciples who passed as well arrived a little earlier than them, and the five took off their badges and handed them over to the staff.

It was very easy to add stars to the badges, the staff went to the back with the five badges and after a few minutes, came back with a gold star on each badge.

“Congratulations to you five for becoming one-star mages.” The staff said with a smile, and then talked about the process to become a baron in the future. Similar to what Natalie said, you had to wait until the goddess’s birthday. The Association would notify them in advance, so they didn’t have to worry about it for the time being.

Anna solemnly pinned the badge to her chest, this was the best reward for her hard work in the past two months.

She and Natalie left the registration office, and Anna said, “Natalie, I’m going to continue my studies. I want to attempt the two-star promotion test in a month.”

Natalie knew about this decision of Anna’s long ago, she thought about it and said, “I want to study with you!”

She would definitely not participate in the 2-star promotion test a month later, but she still wanted to study with Anna. She noticed that it was not that difficult to become a 1-star mage; she wanted to move forward to a 2-star mage!

“Okay, let’s study together then!” Anna smiled, it was such a pleasure to have someone to accompany you on the road of learning.

Anna and Natalie walked down the road smiling, ahead of them was the demon, who seemed to be waiting for them.

Anna went up to him with a puffed chest: “Look, I’m a one-star mage now!” As long as you don’t stop me, I will soon become a five-star mage!

Rothgarr glanced at the badge on Anna’s chest, the blank spot had been filled with a gold star.

He nodded: “As you should be.”

In order to help her, he had done a lot of things that he would never do before. If she couldn’t pass even after that, then he would be furious.

Anna didn’t care whether the demon’s attitude is good or not, she had become a one-star mage, and had a title, and she was making progress towards her goal little by little!

“Now we’re going to study, are you coming?” Anna asked.

Rothgarr had nothing else to do every day, and naturally would not refuse: “Of course.”

So on the first day when the results of the promotion assessment were announced, the three of them sat in their usual seats again.

The elementary library did not have many books, and most of the books were not thick. Anna once secretly thought that she might be able to read all the books on the shelves. However, she later found out that some books were really worthless to read, so she naturally wouldn’t read them in vain.

She took some books suitable for one-star and two-star mages to read, and continued to study hard and take notes.

On the first day of restarting her studies, Natalie didn’t want to work too hard, so she took a biographical book and read it slowly, not able to hold back her laughter whenever she read something interesting.

Rothgarr also casually took out a book and set it in front of him. He only glanced at it occasionally, most of the time he looked at Anna with his chin up.

Her profile was soft, and he couldn’t help but want to compare it to her tough character. She was obviously a weak woman who could use her body to climb upwards, and play men in the palm of her hands, but instead she was carving out such a spacious avenue alone.

He watched her get to right now step by step. Recalling her original appearance, and looking at her now, even he thought it was incredible; from a girl in a slum to a one-star mage, to a baron, she only used a little more than four months.

At this moment, her serious profile face was fascinating.

Rothgarr had long been used to the idea of these sudden compliments about Anna that popped into his head, and he no longer even blamed Raymond’s fragile body.

Didn’t all human men think like this? Anyway, it would all get better once he got out of this body.

After studying for a morning, the group left the library, but was stopped by a somewhat unfamiliar three star mage.
