Chapter 501 - Really want to hold and kiss him

On the same evening, in another part of the city. 

Lin Ye dropped Yun Xuan off at her apartment. 

"Thank you for dropping me off. I will go up now; my little Feng must have missed me a lot. I really want to hold and kiss him."

Lin Ye saw how eager she was to see her baby and felt the urge to see him too. "Can I say hi to him?" 

"I don't know... this is a small bundle of trouble we are talking about. Will he not cry and throw a tantrum once he sees you?" 

Lin Ye did not mind that blue pair of glaring eyes. They loved the same woman and the sooner they became friends, the easier it would be for them. "If he does not want me around, I will leave." 

"Then I don't mind either. Let's go." 

Yun Xuan felt she was forgetting something, but she couldn't get ahold of what it was. She thoughtlessly led Lin Ye into her apartment. 

One had to take note, ever since Yun Xuan broke up with Tyler, this was the first man she had been this close to. She would not tolerate any man glancing at her one extra time, much less enter her apartment and say hello to her baby. It was only because Lin Ye was a respectful man who kept his boundaries and had no ill intentions. 

Of course, the fact that his god sister,  Lin Lihua,  had spoken well of him helped alot. Her impression of him was quite good.

Yun Feng's blabbering could be heard as soon as they entered the living room. He did not seem to be particularly happy. Where on earth was his mommy? Had she abandoned him? 

Yun Xuan rushed over and took him into her arms, kissing his lovely little face. "Did you miss me, mommy's little darling?" 

The tiny boy grabbed onto her hair. His eyes had a hint of wetness in them, as though he had been crying. 

Yun Xuan's heart couldn't help aching. "You really missed me. Did you give grandma a hard time?" 

Madam Yun was tired, as though she had had a really hard time. "My grandson transforms into a little devil once he misses you. As soon as he sees you back, he turns back into an adorable little angel." 

At this moment, she finally saw Lin Ye who was behind Yun Xuan. "Who's your friend?" 

Yun Xuan finally realized what she had forgotten. Her mother was at her apartment! This was not going to be easy to deal with...

"Mom, this is Lin Ye." 

Aside from a name, she did not know how exactly to intoduce him. Her friend? Were they considered close enough to be friends? It would be too weird to introduce him as her employee since they had both left YX Brand ages ago. 

"Hello auntie, I'm Yun Xuan's friend." Lin Ye completed the introduction that she was unable to.

Madam Yun glanced at her daughter's 'friend' who seemed to be casting amorous glances at her. Was her daughter so clueless?

She stopped thinking too much. "I will let you guys catch up." 

Yun Xuan felt awkward. Had her mother misunderstood their relationship? 

She ignored her and held Yun Feng out towards Lin Ye. "Do you want to hold him?" 

Lin Ye had never held a baby before. He was slightly nervous. "Yeah." 

Yun Xuan gently placed him into Lin Ye's arms. 

The boy continued clutching onto Yun Xuan's clothes as though afraid that once he was in someone else's arms, she would go somewhere. 

When he saw that she had no intention of leaving, he relaxed and slowly let go of her blouse. 

He turned to take a curious look at Lin Ye with his blue eyes. His eyes seemed to ask, was this not the stranger from the last time? Why was he holding him now? 

He stretched his small hand and rubbed his clear eyes, looking like he was going to cry. 

However, he seemed to realize that Lin Ye meant no harm so he did not cry. Even then, he didn't stay calm for long. He started flailing his arms towards his mother within just a few seconds. 

Yun Xuan was pleasantly surprised. She took him back and tickled his stomach. "You didn't cry? You are mommy's little darling. Yes you are." 

He laughed while kicking his tiny legs in the air then rested his gaze on Lin Ye. 

"Boss, I should head back now." Lin Ye could still feel the invisible glare in those clear eyes. It was as though he was trying to ask, so you are the man who wants to take my mommy away, huh? 

Yun Xuan also knew that it was getting late. "I'll walk you to the door." 

As soon as they reached the door, the boy was almost doing a happy dance. He seemed to be happy that he would have his mother all to himself now. She was getting stolen away more often lately.
