Chapter 469 - Little Jia wants to dance

It would not be too nice if she distracted mommy from her work. However, mommy had never been too busy and always made time for her.

Just one minute woudn't waste mommy's time, right?

To outsiders, Little Jia looked too cute. She looked like a small business girl thinking and trying to come to a decision about a deal worth billions of dollars.

"Little miss is becoming more and more like her parents." A maid dared to say when Little Jia disappeared up the stairs.

"What do you expect? Master is a renown businessman, the best in the nation. How can little miss not be as great? The apple does not fall far from the tree."

....

On the second floor, Little Jia contemplated for a while before knocking on the door.

Wan Jia knew instantly who that tiny knock belonged to and stood to open the door for her. The little girl was too short to reach the door knob on her own.

"My little baby, you finally looked for mommy." Wan Jia crouched to hug her.

Little Jia held her kneck tightly, paying attention to not press onto her stomach. "Mommy..." she called out shyly.

Lately, she had become scarce and no longer stuck onto her mother. Heaven knew what she was doing in her room all day.

Wan Jia kissed her face in a flurry. "Baby, is something the matter?"

Knowing her daughter's character, the little girl couldn't possibly have come to find her simply because she missed her. It must be because she needed something. Whoever told her that big girls do not stick to their mothers?

She actually liked it when Little Jia was being clingy onto her. With such a cute child, who wouldn't?

The little girl was currently playing with her hair. "Mommy, Katy is coming back soon."

Wan Jia had heard about Lin Lihua's and Henry Blanc's return too. "Yes, Katy is coming back. What about it?"

As though afraid her mother would say no to her, the little girl rubbed her mother's hair, the same way Wan Jia did while praising her. "Mommy, Katy will go to a dance school, and so will Tangtang. Can I go too?"

Wan Jia chuckled. So it was only about this? She had made it sound as though it was something difficult to bring up.

She stood up and sat back behind the study desk. "I can enroll you into a dance school too. However, are you going because you want to, or only because your friends are going?"

Little Jia held her chin in her hand with a raised eyebrow again, making Wan Jia let out a soft chuckle. Her mannerisms were just like Lu Aotian's.

"Mommy, is there a difference?" She asked after thinking about it.

"Of course. Since you don't know, then it is probably because your friends are going. Mommy will enroll you but you have to know, you are only going for fun. Don't feel pressured about anything; just enjoy yourself since you don't have to be better than anyone." Wan Jia explained.

She knew that in such schools, the best dancers would be the most popular. Kids like Tangtang would probably even gain fame outside school because of how talented they were.

Since Little Jia was Tangtang's friend, she might begin to feel that she needed to be the best too and if she did not, she might become disappointed in herself. Little Jia was too young to start having such feelings.

"When are Tangtang and Katy going? You can all go together."

"Soon after Katy comes back."

Wan Jia raised an eyebrow. It seemed to have been pre-planned by the three playmates.

Though she wondered, how exactly did Tangtang convince his parents?

"Mommy, can you not tell Daddy about it?" Little Jia said hesitantly.

"Why not?"

"Because... because Tangtang said that businessmen would not let their children go to talent schools. Not only is daddy a businessman, he is also the best and most handsome of them all." Because she needed her mother's help, she had to tell her.

Wan Jia couldn't resist a laugh. Lu Aotian's looks had a role to play in his rejecting her request to go to dance school?

"Little girl, you want to start hiding things from your daddy? That's what bad kids do. Your parents always want the best for you. Good girls will speak to their parents if they want to do something, not hide it from them, okay?"

Little Jia blinked. Good girls didn't hide things from their parents? Then it meant that good boys didn't hide things from their parents either, right? Then why was it that...

She brushed it off her small mind. "Understood mommy."

"Good. Speak to your daddy about it this evening, mmh?"

"Yes mommy." With that, she literally fled from the study room. Mommy said yes! That was the hard part. She would help her convince daddy later if he said no.

Wan Jia laughed at how the little girl almost tripped on her own legs. What was so scary?

Little Jia ran all the way to her room. She pulled two pillows from her bed and dragged them one at a time, arranging them behind the door.

Then, with the new height created by standing on those pillows, she was able to reach the door knob and lock the door.

When she was done, she took the pillows back to her bed and took out the new laptop that Lu Aotian had bought her the last time they went shopping.

It had been created for the use of children and thanks to Lu Aotian's modifications on it, it was more convenient for her. After being taught to use it once, she was now able to do it on her own.
