Chapter 422 - How Shrewd

Time flew by fast and in the blink of an eye, there was still three days left until Lu Enterprises' banquet.

Kara called Wan Jia put for shopping in a childrens' clothes store. She was going to buy some clothes for Kara and Tangtang, while Wan Jia would buy some for Little Jia. She didn't have to worry about the attire for Lu Enterprises' banquet. 

For the sake of publicity, Wan Jia had made gowns for all her friends. Even Shishi would be dressed by her. 

The others would wear couple outfits since they were in pairs after all. This time, she had also made a small suit for Tangtang and a little dress for Little Jia. 

As she picked a cute miniature suit for Tangtang, Kara looked at Wan Jia. "Don't you think our kids actually like each other? Tangtang even said something about being Little Jia's husband in future. I've heard it so many times that my ears are getting calluses from it." 

Wan Jia chuckled softly. "The kids are just joking around. We can't take their words too seriously." 

"But they could have an engagement nonetheless. If they end up not liking each other in future, they can break up." 

Wan Jia picked a pale blue little dress. "Is this your new business strategy?" She joked. With Kara, it wouldn't be a surprise if everything she did was to gain profit. She was a famous business woman after all. 

Kara laughed. "You've got to be kidding me. Xu Real Estate is already one of Lu Enterprises' major business partners. What else would we gain?

Your daughter is just so beautiful and outstanding that she will have many admirers, my Tangtang may not even have a chance. It would be so nice if she ended up as my daughter-in-law. You will not have to worry about her being treated unfairly by her in-laws." 

Wan Jia studied her expression. It didn't look like she was hiding any ill intentions. After encountering the Yun family, she had to be careful even about the people closest to her.

Kara looked at Wan Jia, hoping she would agree.

Actually, it was because she had heard Xu Liaowen mention something about Little Jia's future engagement with the first son of Lu Aotian's business partner. Although it was just a possibility, she still thought that Little Jia and her son would make a better match. 

Most importantly, she wanted to guarantee that her son would be happy in future. If his wife was Little Jia, it was sure that Tangtang's life would be blissful. She was from the Lu family. Based on this fact alone, one could be sure that her future husband was going to be one lucky person.

Wan Jia couldn't make a decision on her own. "When Little Jia is old enough to understand what marriage is, I'll consider this." 

Kara wasn't the first person proposing an engagement. Lu Aotian's friends who had sons had started bringing up this topic as soon as they learnt that Lu Aotian had a daughter. 

He had rejected all of them without flinching.

The last time, she had half-joked about Little Jia marrying Tangtang in future. Although Lu Aotian didn't agree to it, he didn't reject it either. 

Kara flashed a smile and picked an extremely cute pink dress. "You don't mind if I buy this for my possibly future daughter-in-law, do you?" 

Wan Jia shook her head and took an animal print pajamas. "In that case, I'll also buy this for my possibly future son-in-law."

"To have your photos taken and displayed on the screens. You will be wearing attires from MAX brand.

He rolled his pen. "State your condition." 

Lin Lihua was eagerly waiting for that. "Make HL Entertainment a business partner of Moon Weekly." 

Lu Aotian, who was waiting for her to ask for something huge from Lu Enterprises, was stunned. Since it was just a subsidiary, there were no qualms about it. Most importantly, it was for his wife. He would agree to it even if she asked for Lu Enterprises' shares.

She took a deep breath. "Madam, something happened at Royal Kindergarten."
