Lin Lihua's chauffeur was interrogated by Xia Rou as soon as he arrived. Xia Rou had been waiting for her daughter all evening so they could discus something. "Where is Lihua?"

"Eldest Miss must have gone to her apartment."

"Why then are you back with the car? How did she go to her apartment?"

The young man wanted to keep it to himself but the news was too great. "Eldest Miss went with a man. He is quite handsome."

"What did you say?" Xia Rou was elated. She didn't know that when Lin Lihua left the house. She was going on a date. She had only said that she was going for a meal with a friend and she didn't think too much about it.

That child, how can she not tell her something so important? She cheerfully went to tell the news to Lin Zhou. Their Lihua went out with a man, a man!

"I guess she went out with that guy from country F. After all he asked her out in public and she agreed to go." Lin Zhou said. He was also happy that his daughter was finally showing interest in a man.

"Why didn't you tell me such an important thing? Am I the only one who didn't know?" Xia Rou scolded.

"My dear wife, you have been paying so much attention on Wan Jia lately that you forgot about our Lihua. How could you notice?"

Xia Rou was excited despite being the last one to know. Perhaps the day that beautiful wedding gown she had designed for her daughter would be worn wasn't too far away. She would also get to cradle her cute little grandchildren soon haha!

The next day when she called Lin Lihua over, she didn't mention the matter about her boyfriend. She only talked about the family company. Lin Zhou was present too.

"Lihua, mom and dad are not against your entertainment agency but Lin Industries is really going to collapse." She said.

Lin Zhou added. "I have tried my best. That anonymous person keeps attacking day and night and using the moment when share value deteriorates to buy more shares. You have seen it happen, right? The shares they have bought are now only ten percent less than mine. If they buy that ten percent, the CEO of Lin Industries might have to change."

Lin Lihua looked at her parents. "Mom, dad, don't worry. I will not let dad's hard work go to waste."

Lin Zhou smiled. "I knew my Lihua is very thoughtful. Actually, since you are already close to that guy, you should get married quickly. I heard he is very good in doing business. He could be considered as good as Lu Aotian. If you get married, he will definitely have to take over Lin Industries and will not allow it to be destroyed."

Xia Rou was the first to react. "Excuse me?"

Lin Zhou looked at her. "What, did I say something wrong?"

"You are asking me that? Of course using our son-in-law to save our family company is wrong."

"What's wrong with helping his family out a little? If he can't take over Lin Industries, that's okay. He can just make it an ally of Le Blanc Group. That's enough to prevent us from going bankrupt for a while.  In any case, he is marrying my outstanding daughter. Can't he do this little thing for us?"

Xia Rou frowned. "What's gotten into you? You are being selfish."

Lin Lihua interrupted their banter. "Mom, dad, stop it. Dad, mom is right. You know, your suggestion is no different from marrying me off to the man who can save the company. Didn't I already say it? I will save the company myself. Don't you trust me, dad?"

Lin Zhou sighed. "Lihua you don't understand. This isn't just anyone. I am dealing with a very powerful opponent. There are only two people who can defeat him and those are Lu Aotian and Henry Blanc. Lu Aotian might never help me so the ball lies in your court."

Lin Lihua raised an eyebrow. "Did you…offend someone you shouldn't? For you to call someone powerful, that person has to be terrifying. What feud does he have against you?"

"I didn't offend anyone. Your mother did." he said.

Xia Rou glared at him. "Watch your tongue Lin Zhou!" she turned back to her daughter. "Lihua, you don't have to use your future husband in such a selfish way. True love is not about using each other for selfish benefits. If we can't save our own family company, then so be it."

Lin Lihua hugged her mother's arm. "Mom, I know. You don't have to worry."

"The both of you are against my idea? Fine then. I'll call Wan Jia." He left the mother and daughter pair in a huff.

"I'll talk to him." Lin Lihua suggested.

"Let him calm down. He's just under so much pressure." Xia Rou said.

Wan Jia was helping her daughter hang her new paintings in her room. The more she stayed in school, the more formidable her wrist strength became. Her paintings looked much better than they did a year ago. She had made several of them and wished to use them to decorate her room.

Wan Jia smiled as she held one of them. It contained more characters but she could recognize them from their features.
