Wan Jia calmed down and looked at them. "It must be a threat, right? Let me see it."

Lu Aotian hesitated.

Wan Jia's eyes slowly shifted to Lu Aotian. "When I told you that Lin Lihua's mother is my mother, no one else was here. You didn't touch any communication device for at least one hour. When did the two of you know?"

He gave Lu Shaoting a look. The latter knew to excuse himself. "Sister-in-law, father is on his own. I'll leave first."

Wan Jia did shot him a look. "Who allowed you to leave?"

He had no choice but to stay. The monster's wife had just turned into a devil.

The cat was already out of the bag. Lu Aotian could only face it. "Not more than three weeks ago."

Wan Jia frowned. "Three weeks? Everyone knew the truth except me, the female lead?"

She glared at Lu Aotian. "Now I inderstand why you didn't look surprised.

That's why you have been looking so guilty every time I mentioned my family. It turns out you knew. Why didn't you tell me?"

"I wanted to respect my mother-in-law's wishes." he said.

Wan Jia was once again annoyed. "What makes you so sure that the Lin family will accept me? Only Lin Lihua's mother is related to me. Her father and her may not like me." He purposefully did not call Xia Rou her mother. Even 'Aunty Lin'was nowhere to be heard now.

Lu Aotian looked at his forgetful wife speechlessly. "Don't you know best how much Lin Lihua loves you? Your parents love you too. So, my love, give them a chance, okay?"
