He frowned and puzzled at the magic armor he had never seen before. But the puzzlement was fleeting.

Gotou nodded as one of his men, who had moved quickly to the front, reported back.

Gotou was about to order his men to advance, blood dripping from his sword in his hand.

After reacting sharply to the powerful mana’s power, he turned his head forward.

“Who are you?”

The enemy soldiers who were intercepting him wore a custom type of jet-black magical armor. The upper half of his face is covered by a silver mask, giving him an air of mystery.

“…Captain Gotou. Serious and honest, you are the Emperor’s loyal samurai.”

“You seem to know me. Drop your weapons!”

“That’s why you are strange.”

Despite the advice to surrender, the man took his sword from his hip.

“But it’s inevitable. I’ll force you to change it.”

Gotou also held up his sword, since he didn’t think he would surrender.

“Let’s change the casting here. I’ll find a replacement for you.”

“That’s right. I’m changing your role.”

Gotou closed the gap and slashed at the enemy who told him something unintelligible, and the battle began.
