The Velter clan were more than happy to take the spear from Max's hands as their scion was a spear user.

Paying a grand sum of 30 billion gold coins and supplying the Bloodfall clan with an additional 6 billion worth of mana regeneration potions, the total deal was made at a staggering sum of 36 billion gold coins.

Naturally Max could not pay Angakok back after consuming bottle after bottle of potion while still inside the Aurelius fortress as it could risk one of his biggest secrets being leaked, however, he did get approved for a 14 day period of absence from active service and was allowed to head back to Dombivli City for the duration.

Max had officially entered the good graces of Regus Aurelius and regardless of what request he would make in this period it was bound to be approved.

His name resounded throughout the vampire society and everyone said his name with honour and respect.

If he wanted a 14 day break, nobody dared to question why he wanted such a long break as he had time and time again proved himself invaluable for the society.

The reason behind asking for a 14 day leave was simple for Max, not only did he need the space of his castle to pay Angakok's debt back, but he also needed to then attempt the tier6 promotion test and return to the battlefield as a true God.

If there was one thing he realised after his fight against Ferox and near death encounter against Kane, it was the fact that tier6 was the bare minimum to be considered a heavyweight in the universe and the with the level of game he was playing against opponents all tier6 and above he needed to be at least at that stage himself to be comfortable facing them.

Now that he was finally at the tier limit, he needed to figure out how to be promoted as soon as possible, but he needed to avoid doing it the system way.

Angakok, Drax and even his master Kremeth were all adamant that the universal queen could not be trusted and that he could not go for a system trial for his promotion.

He needed to do it the old fashioned way how the god's did it in the era before the queen took over in a promotion method that was way more dangerous.

Keeping thoughts of his promotion on one side for the moment, Max spent the entire day consuming one potion after another rapidly as he paid back his mana debt to Angakok.

By the time he was done, there were almost three massive rooms full of empty potion bottles left that could have easily been used to supply the entire Bloodfall army for close to a year.

It was a reminder for the steep cost that associated itself with calling for Angakok's help and was a note to Max that if he kept relying on the Shaman god's powers he might bankrupt the clan one day with such massive expenditures.

A steamy night spent with Asiva later, Max was off towards the planet where master Kremeth told him he would be residing in the near future.

Since he was going to attempt the traditional promotion, he wanted to get Kremeth's take on the method before he gave it an attempt himself as he was aiming for a SSS rating.

( Kremeth's POV ) I think you should take a look at

When Max finally showed up on Kremeth's planet the old turtle only smiled as if he had long expected this day to come.

He had hoped that the day would come at a later date when Max was more mature, but his growth rate was so high that he reached the tier limit in practically no time.

" Nice armour " Kremeth commented as he recognised Kane's armour but did not ask how Max obtained it as he had a rough idea of how.

" I'm here to understand the process behind promoting to tier6 the traditional way master Kremeth. You told me to not trust the queen's method, so here I am just like you told me to be " Max said as he wasted no time and cut straight to the chase

Kremeth snapped his fingers and created a small tornado chair for Max to sit on as he himself levitated in the air and folded his legs as he began his tale of how he was promoted to tier6 all those years ago during the chaos war era.

" As you must know boy, the current god's have it easy when they are promoted to tier6.

The queen places them in a safe time dilation and sends them to various mortal planets that have yet to be integrated to the universe and its ambient mana.

There these individuals through the use of their superior strength and powers create an image of them being god in the mortals and make them worship themselves as immortals.

They do this process over and over again with different cultures and different species and create a social system of consistent followers, leaving every planet on an ominous note that they would return one day, or that they are always watching from the heavens when they really are not so that generations after generations of mortals on those planets continue to worship them.

This process ends when the queen deems a god to have enough followers to constantly generate a pool of divine essence when she concludes their promotion to be complete and implants an A.I chip in their brains.

It is a safe way of becoming a god that doesn't have many chances of failure and the final evaluation depends on the queen's personal evaluation of your performance on the mortal planets.

The way I became a god, however, is much different.

It doesn't involve making mortals your followers and back in my day when it was the mainstream method of being promoted, only 1 in 20 gods would make it as the rest would die horrible deaths.

The queen cannot be trusted and for you the traditional way is the best way of being promoted if you want to stay away from her sphere of influence, but it won't be safe or easy.

Are you sure you want to go ahead with it?" Kremeth asked as although he knew Max's answer, as a teacher he explained all the risks associated with his choice beforehand.
