A disorientated voice echoed in a dark tunnel illuminated by a small glowing orb. Inside the tunnel two figures were present, one was a male seated quietly before the glowing orb and the other was a female with a long, loosely fitted white shirt struggling to get up from the ground.

She looked downcast, devastated and defeated. She had been living a lie for so long, working for the people who captured her mother, just to get her out of bondage. She had kept her pride aside and bowed to them, but for what? They had no sympathy. And killed her mother before her very eyes. Making all of her efforts become waste.
These two were naturally Leon and Arian
"You healed me?" Arian looked over at Leon and asked. Leon was supposed to be her enemy, but he was the one who ended up saving her from her so-called Allies.
"Yes I did"
"Why?" Arian asked.
"I don't need a reason to do anything.....i do what i do because i can." Leon responded.
"Hmmm" Arian sighed, Leon was dodging the question.....she had never been able to see through this guy's intentions, he was always cloaked in a sort of nonchalant dark shade.
After a few seconds of staring at Leon, she turned and looked away. There was no gain in trying to understand Leon. She had enough on her mind already.
But she didn't expect Leon to be the one to speak to her at this turn.
"Stop that, You're going to ruin your prideful heart if you continue like this" Leon spoke while looking at Arian with the side of his eyes, she was beating herself up because of what happened, slowly dragging herself into a sort of depressive spiral.
"I don't know what you're talking about" Arian said with a bit of contusion.
"You're beating yourself up because of your mother's passing...but you've failed to ask yourself why she passed under your watch" Leon closed his eyes and spoke.
When some people go through traumatic experiences like these, they tend to react differently. Some would become suicidal, some would fall into the deepest pits of depression, and some would be filled with a blind need for revenge.
"Do you want strength and power? Do you want the power to trample on your enemies? Do you want to walk freely in this world and follow your heart's desires without fear? I will grant you all that and many more.....all you have to do is trust me and I will make you one without equal" Leon's voice carried a hypnotic flow....it felt magical
She couldn't help but think that the only thing limiting him was his level. If ever they were on the same level, she would definitely lose to this monster before her.
"You must trust me" Leon said and stretched his hand forward, grabbing her face gently. This move shocked Arian, but she couldn't bring herself to do anything.

Just as these words left Leon's mouth, his aura changed entirely, he was the same person but he gave off the feeling of a charismatic hero offering a helping hand to a damsel in distress. At this moment, she had completely forgotten that Leon was a manipulative Demon that had dragged her into this mess.
In fact, a quick analysis of everything that happened from the day they Met till now would point out that Leon was actually the source of most of her troubles.
He had forced her into an unsavoury contract that dragged her into this wild goose chase for the dead Fryan Dalriss. He had humiliated Anan Dalriss and pitted them against each other all while making Arian dependant on him. But she didn't see all this.
"Uh..." Arian nodded involuntarily, she had unknowingly been drawn into trusting leon's word and what he promised her was the world, in this time of need it was hard to say no...but it still felt like she was about to make a deal with a Demon, however, she found herself drawn to him the more he spoke.

Leon suddenly leaned forward and placed a kiss on Arian's lips. It was quick and made Arians eyes widen, but before she knew it

Inside Leon's head the system resounded and slowly Arian was dragged into an empty space where flashes of light engulfed her mind. It seemed like she was being tuned and tested for the role she was about to take
While this was going on her hair had slowly turned from blonde into pure white, like snow.....this was an indication that she had received the sin of Pride
And successfully become the embodiment of the sin of Pride.
