Chapter 272 - Still a Demon Bride? 1

Getting inside their room, he trashed everything out of annoyance and breathing labourly like he was being choked and then suddenly got released.

He respected his wife's wish, but still felt that this might happen again if he just let it pass, but before he could make a call to his assistant to help him make sure Sharon was brought somewhere for she and him to have a little talk about how her next attempt will lead to her death, his phone rang.

It was an unknown number, but it was Angela who called. She was still worried that Leo would have hit his bottom limit and might try to hurt Sharon.

Who wouldn't?

Even if she were in Clara's shoes, she would have done the same. She nearly ruined her life.

"Who's this?" Leo asked and Angela spoke up.

"This is a friend of Sharon."

Leo's anger surged further.

"I'm calling to apologize for what she did." She said and Leo smiled softly. It was a wicked smile that would have made whoever sees it to shudder.

"For hurting my wife. I don't see any reason behind this call. She will explain herself to me once we meet." He said, totally forgotten about Clara's pleas to let go.

He wondered if she still has more tricks up her sleeves.

"Leo, I'm sorry for everything." It was Sharon who spoke up now.

Silent.

He couldn't say anything. The girl was talking in between tears and it felt like she couldn't say a word without wincing in pain.

"I know I've stepped out of line, but that was because I couldn't swallow the fact that you stopped loving me. I thought feelings like ours don't change and I wanted to fight for it, but I agree that I lose now.

I'm sorry for hurting your feelings on your honeymoon. I have given up on you but felt like she doesn't deserve you, but now I know that I'm the one that doesn't deserve you.

I'm very sorry and I promise I won't even say hi if we met on the street. I will stay away from your life." Sharon said, still whimpering softly.

It was hard but somehow, she felt a bit light as she told him all this.

Leo massaged his temple and his heart softened. Not that he forgives her, but he finally used Clara's plea to let go, because she just assured her that she would mind herself.

"Don't let me set my eyes on you ever again. If you see me first, pretend like you didn't. I won't forget the wound I saw on her just now, so stick to your words." He said and ended the call.

He let out a deep sigh of relief and left for the living room.

Clara smiled as he saw him coming back, already loosened his tie and rolled up his sleeve, looking as breathtaking as ever, never failing to make her feel proud to have him as her man.

The woman already understood and left.

Leo's expression remained gloomy as he began tending to her. The woman was almost done, so it didn't take him up to 2 minutes to wrap things up, while Clara just continued to stare at him.

"Seems like my husband is still angry." She said after he was done.

He rolled his eyes and packed up the kits used. He got up and wanted to leave, but she held his hand.

"What?" He asked and she chuckled at his tantrum.

"So, you want me to nurse your brattiness before your baby makes an appearance in our life?" She asked.

"I'm forever your baby. I still suck b.r.e.a.s.t duh!" He replied and took his seat.

"Shameless." Clara said and he seems to have calmed down.

"You know that you made the wrong move, right? If she was more than you imagined, you could have been in danger and I wouldn't have guessed that it was her who was behind it. Please don't do this next time.

I have my plans for her already, but since it turns out like this, please don't get hurt again. I don't like seeing this." He said and Clara nodded obediently.

"I'm sorry I shouted." He said and she rested her head on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry I worried you." She replied, closing her eyes as he gently stroked her hair.

.....

Meanwhile.

"He thinks he can just get away with what he did hun? Dream on dude, today is the end of you and your so-called bride to be." A young man in a hoodie, sitting inside a car said, as he stared at Tim and  Sonya who just settled down in a restaurant across the street.

Sonya was still all about something simple, not all those reservation stuff.

She finally calmed down with Tim and stopped being difficult.

This young man is the brother of the guy that Timothy asked his boys to chop off his fingers for hitting his butt, a long time ago.

Ever since his brother pointed at Tim as the man behind his chopped fingers on the television, as the best man of Leonard, he has been planning revenge.

He didn't even ask what his brother did to offend Tim, because to him, no matter what happened, Tim had no right to just cruelly ask for someone's fingers to be chopped off.

Those types of people are not human.

And now is his chance, as Tim is alone with the woman announced to be his upcoming bride. "Are you guys ready?" The guy said to the five armed guys in the car, and they all nodded their heads and adjusted their masks to cover their identity.

"He thinks he can just do as he pleases because he had a rich friend hun? Your rich friend wouldn't even know what hit you, bastard!" The guy said with so much hatred in his tone as they began loading their guns

Tim and Sonya settled down on their seats. It was closer to the transparent glass demarcating the inside of the restaurant and the outside, so they could have a clear view of the road from their seats.

"You promise me no special treatment." Sonya said, looking around the restaurant, as they are the only customers inside it.

"Yeah. We are just fortunate that they don't have any customers today, so we got to be alone." Tim replied smiling.

"You are a bad liar, but it's cool anyway. So why are you sitting next to me? Shouldn't you be sitting opposite me?" Sonya asked Tim, who sat so close to her, their bodies even brushing against each other.

She was getting overwhelmed by his nice scent, but controlled herself.

"Lets just say, I want our baby to look like me." Tim said.

"Nice excuse." Sonya said, bursting into laughter.

A waiter walked up to them and placed the menu in front of them and left. "What would you like to have?" Tim asked, checking out the menu.

"How about I have you first?" Sonya asked, before closing her mouth with both hands.

"Oh no!" She exclaimed, closing her eyes. She just spoke out her lewd thoughts before realising it.

Tim snapped out of his shock and stared at her. "Why did you say that?" He asked with a straight face, but he's beaming with joy on the inside.

"You're just so handsome, that's why." Sonya replied.

Tim suddenly hugged her, and they both fell off their seats, with Tim on top of her, but he didn't rest his weight on her, as she is a pregnant woman. And her bump has pushed out.

He used one arm to support her head from hitting the floor, and the other to keep his balance.

"Are you okay?" He asked with a frightened expression, as the sound of broken glass hitting the floor was heard, followed by more gunshots.

Sonya stared at the blood dripping from Tim's shoulder on her cloth with a blank expression.

"Ah!" Tim exclaimed as another gun hit his back, he quickly replaced his pained expression with a smile, as Sonya eyes blinked.

Being on top of her made his body raise high enough to get hit, but if he moved away, the broken glass and possible hit was guaranteed for Sonya.

"It's okay." He assured but was cursing inside, because he had never left his house unarmed, but for once, he wanted to just go out with Sonya like a normal guy, and this is happening.

If he wasn't fast enough, the first shot was aimed at Sonya's chest, which hit his shoulder when he hugged her.

"Your… your  eyes." Tim said in shock, as Sonya's eyes began to turn red, actually glowing red.

It keeps getting fiercer.

"What is going on?" He asked and was suddenly flipped over within a blink of an eye.

He found himself on the floor, but he couldn't move from the spot he is In, while Sonya was now on her feet.

Oh dear lord! His heart skipped and he thought it's over.

His child and woman are gone, but then he saw loads of bullets being shot at her, but she remains standing and even stepped a bit closer to the window before letting out a loud ear piercing screech.

All the waiters and cooks in the restaurant lost consciousness immediately, along with Tim, while the shooters' cars blew up with everybody in it, not leaving any survivors.

She turned around like a robot and picked Tim up, before leaving the scene at a lightning speed.

It was like she was never there in the first place.
